I decided to break down this Poetry Prayer into excerpts and apply it to these beautiful black women by highlighting their hair. In a world that preaches diversity on many different levels, I wonder why some folks seem to have an anemic accountability towards the progression of acceptance.

So I chose to do it because I sometimes feel and notice black women are often, forgotten seconds. The cure is for us to encourage each other.
