SANCTI FLY HISTORY

This powerful God-sent thunder woman looked like she did not play. Look at her picture, she definitely did not! Harriet Tubman did not play, meaning, she was not the person you wanted to mess with. I get how some people who never ever had to figure things out on their own or fight for anything, can look at the pictures of Minty (Araminta) also known as our beloved Harriet Tubman, and say she never smiled or that she looked so serious.

Well, if you were born in 1822 into slavery and you were determined to be free or die trying, perhaps during that era, you would have a different demeanor. Harriet was a leader and an anointed warrior. Harriet was against slavery and always ready to help bring freedom to others who were slaves. Historians have studied Harriet. She is important in Black History and Women's History because Harriet gave birth to the elements of black girl magic way before we embraced the name of it. Harriet was an activist for her people and an abolitionist. History has also shown that there were a lot of European abolitionist that helped women like Ms. Tubman and her family.

There is nothing currently in the present, or in the past that melanated people do in our cities and states or in this world that Europeans don't know about. It is set up that way. We all have to continue to go through this "white man's world" or European institutions to get things done. There's no getting around that fact. In Harriet Tubman's time, things were exacerbated but she had allies that knew the lifestyle of slavery was wrong and they risked their lives by using their privelege.

Harriet Tubman used her spiritual gifts in excellent ways. She rocked that black girl magic to the core of her soul. Nothing could stop her because Yahweh was with her. Not even the 1850 law of the Fugitive Slave Act. Yah spoke to Harriet in dreams and visions. When Harriet Tubman freed those slaves she never lost any of the people or families during her journey to liberate them. God was Tubman's map. When Harriet Tubman escaped from her plantation in Maryland. Harriet couldn't even read or write. Harriet was led and guided by Yahweh's spirit. When Harriet arrived in the free state of Philadelphia, they were in disbelief that she made the travel alone. That's what we all should be praying and seeking God for. That Harriet Tubman anointing is golden. Harriet is momentous in history due to her passion and appetite for freedom as she led over 300 folks out of bondage in the underground railroad. Harriet represents courage and strength for all people but especially for women.
