It's a beautiful day on this blessed Sabbath Saturday to be a melanated, never ever duplicated, Black woman. Always! That is the message!
She doesn't trust the society that men have been raised in. She has a very valid point. Listen to understand. That is the message.
Trust is earned. I certainly do not trust anyone in this freaking twilight zone!
Men, fellas, husbands, boyfriends, and males, listen very carefully. "Never put your woman in a position where other women can laugh at her or think, 'If only she knew.' Protect her NAME, her PEACE, and her DIGNITY." That is the message.
Dear Black Boys,
Show up for yourselves and dream anyway. They will try but they cannot stop you. That is the message.
Take care of your body, mind, joy, peace, rest, time, and always choose YOU! This all equates to healthy boundaries. That is the message.
"The support of Black Women is so special because of their loyalty and that Black men should never take it for granted." Like NEVER EVER! That is the message.
May this memo reach those that truly need it. Black women's existence is paramount to every system and avenue available. There wouldn't be a church without them. Who would use their spiritual gifts to pray for you? Who else would support you in the courtroom? Who else helps you win elections? Who else can withstand white women's microaggressions' and remain excellent on these jobs or in these business meetings? Oh, the men too! Who else is going to advocate for you in these hospitals? It's Black Women. They are always standing in the gap for everyone else. Even when this society does the opposite for them. Even when their humanity, their boys, their men and their dollar isn't protected but it is measured in "less than."
