Vice President Kamala Harris "Definitely Earned It." I saw that phrase on social media (Instagram) and just had to run with this narrative. Perhaps those who are concerned about where Kamala stands on various policies should seek out and research it. Stop saying you don't know what her policies are or what she stands for. Go look, it's not hidden! Did you not know that most student/lawyers study nothing but policies when they are in law school? Why is it that when black people are actually qualified and elevated to do a job, they become fearful? I wonder why. They (white men) always cry about them not being worthy to serve in their position. Their new rhetoric is, those DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) folks. They use it in a negative way to describe melanated people. Oh, I know why. They only think they (white men) are super, supremely able and capable to do the job. Incidentally, this spiritual warfare we are in has nothing to do with skin color. Dismiss all the distractions and remain spiritually active. They shol acting like those good ole Christian folks.

Once upon a time, I was trapped in a room full of lipsticks. There were so many beautiful colors rocking in many different shades and waves of grace. They put their indelible marks on me, and I loved it. So, I danced, and danced the night away with them and their stains. We all had on our crowns, proudly.
I love and appreciation you guys. Every single one of you. I am surrounded by a powerful love of gals. If you're reading this and you know me, yep, I am talking about you too. I know we are all going through something. I am so thankful for all the women I know and all the lovely lady spirits I am connected to. If you have been with SFM (Sancti-Fly Mama) I am sure I have written about you or added, you somewhere on here so I'm definitely talking about you. Good energy is everything. If you're ever in a situation where you encounter a person treating you or someone you love with negative vibes, pray it all away. If you're ever in a hospital visiting someone you love, and the nurse is not treating your family member or friend right (as they should) just pray. Remember that we (believers) are everywhere. God's people and angels are assigned everywhere. The next time you go into that hospital Yahweh will have replaced that nurse with a new one. Sometimes folks might be having an off day and need some of your grace. In some situations, people just need to be removed! So, we vibrate even higher to remove them in all situations because you're not going to be messing with our loved ones! Smooches to all of my lovely lipsticks. Thank you, for loving on me and praying for me and keeping good energy even when I probably got on your last nerves (lol). Forgive me! This year I wasn't able to do my tribute to the women in my life or to all of the Power-Pretty women I am connected to, as I have done in the past. I planned on doing a little admiration of about 100 women for the month of March this year in 2023. Well, life doesn't always work out the way we plan it! I know this acknowledgement is late because March is almost over, but not yet! You can still read about all of the women who are basically bits and pieces of history. In the past I have proudly introduced the world to all of my Butter-Fly Mamas, which was my inception to writing about women I know, love, and have learned a lot from. It's kind of like my signature. After I came up with the Butter-Fly Mama content Sancti-Fly Mama, and Power-Pretty Mamas leaked out! I make it a habit to uplift women on SFM (Sancti-Fly Mama) incessantly. Women's History Month is all about celebrating women everywhere. I wanted to highlight the melanated women in my community to show how they rock many different shades and waves of grace as women. You can check out the tribute from last year, here.
In the beginning God created Sancti-Fly Women, to help their seeds (kids) bleed in good deeds. These particular queens help their brothers, and kings build their communities. Sancti-Fly Women are God’s best recipe of creation. They bring peace and love to any foundation they give life to. I will gladly be showing-off an umbrella of meritorious Sancti-Fly Women (Mamas) for the month of March 2022 during Women’s History Month. I actually wanted to highlight 100 Black Women. Time would not permit me to engage or to steal some of the phenomenal women from my social media or borrow some of my friends' friends on their social media pages. It definitely would have been an easy task due to the fact, black girls rock hard, whether I know them personally or through third parties. They're magical. I could have used the Power Pretty Mamas or Butter-Fly Mamas that I have used in the past. I didn't want to cheat (ha, ha). I opted to showcase new Sancti-Fly Mamas and faces this time. In my viewpoint, this edition is instrumental because these women are not only living in their purpose. What I love about each of them collectively is how the structure of their faith, family, and communities fuels their accomplishments. These 31 women want to see "us" all winning. I feel obligated to always endorse the variety in these 31 women to show them in the best grace and positive light ever! Someone out there need this enlightenment! This goddess wants to see all women winning in a smoother birthing process. Angela Yums All have sinned and denied the advantages of ginger into the body. Oh, that's just a funny gal who goes by the name of Jazmyn W. It may be different from others, but the energy is still positive. Obaby Ogunsola (BeOriginal) The Most High placed something unique inside all of us. Her page is running over in positive energy. Sia Savvy Media The 'blacknificence' of this Power-Pretty Mama literally is like a major motion picture. Red Summer (Hip Hop Won't Stop) Verily, verily I say unto thee, this Power-Pretty Mama needs you to act like you’re crowned with African dirt and made from African dust, just like the rest of us. The creator knows your frame and all of your ways. Sometimes God works in the most mysterious ways, to let you know Hip Hop was born to remain changing the game. Yahweh can use another Red Summer of a black woman’s thunder to give women the right beats and tunes to sing human rights, women’s rights, and compassion songs that spark freedom. Like, somewhere in between "We The People" and all human beings were born to be created equal. That part! I love us! Paradise Blue "Your life is based on your mindset" according to this Power-Pretty Mama dipped in blue. We have to organize our energies and re-position ourselves. How many of you know that the phrase has absolutely nothing to do with how a woman looks? It has everything to do with how a woman serves her community and uplifts other women. From the rising of the sun, throughout her entire life, Merri Dee faced many obstacles and even violence as a news anker on WGN in Chicago, but none of those battles changed her character. She still walked audaciously in her purpose. We can all learn from each other. This is the beauty of a Sancti-Fly sisTAR-hood. That word is credited to Reese LaFrances. I would be remiss, if I didn't add this history making black woman to the mix on this list. Thank you, God, for black women! God bless America! 😊 Happy love day to Ms. Lula! Life just isn't the same without my grandmother. I sometimes wonder if she was still here, what topics would she speak on? You know she read the Sunday paper every week. What would I hear coming out of her pouty mouth lol, because Ms. Lula was a real G (gangster)? Just kidding, my Lula was part angel and half gangster! 😂
I do know my granny Lula would have way too much to say about our young folks carjacking. I already know questions regarding the parents would play a huge part in the conversation. Usually, the presence or absence of a male figure is imperative during the adolescence of young men trying to find themselves and their manhood. The landmark trials affecting melanated communities, like Arbery, George Floyd and Botham Jean would have Ms. Lula ready to weigh in on all of the evidence! Joe Biden and Trump would not be off the hook with Ms. Lula. They would also get some of her talk time. My cousins and I grew up saying the number one family phrase, "Are you going over granny Lula house for the holiday, this weekend, or to eat dinner?" Or we always would reminisce about those crazy fun times we created at her house by saying, "Remember that time at granny Lula house when this or that happen?" This is still prevalent and a very popular phrase we continue to use coupled by the best memories. Remember that memories are all you have as I often state in my birthday prayers. Make them count. If you don't, you're going to wish you did after they are gone! Today on December 16, Ms. Lula would have turned 99 years young. Her DNA is boldly stitched in all of her bloodline. She has a rich long legacy. I'm honored to play a role in it. It's amazingly awesome how one woman can give birth to many generations. Think about it! Grandmothers are so powerful. You never know how their bloodline will multiply over into bigger and ground-breaking territories. We are so thankful to have had one of the funniest, and toughest ladies graced to be our grandmother. We are extremely blessed to have shared time and space with her. Through thick and thin, ups and downs, and good times plus bad times, my granny Lula absolutely showed us that family comes first, and family is very important. Thanks Yahweh! She can handle her job confidently with her hands on her hips and a water hose around her waist, as she prepares on how to save the day. Ms. Rawls is trained with the brains to plan on how to save lives and protect others. Firefighter Carter is short and sweet and rather unique. How amazing it is to see a black woman like Firefighter Carter pulling up in a red truck to help you and your community out. Like yes! Get down, and stop messing around when Firefighter Brown is in your town. She is instantly ready to represent black women everywhere who knew they would excel in a male dominating field. She was like, watch me do it. Then she did it! So you certainly can too. Go head Chief Wesley! High ranking ladies are great examples for our babies. Chief Wesley understands how important her role is and the fact that her image gives light and hope to all women and girls, especially black and brown females. I promise I could not tell if the before and after pictures of Firefighter Butler was the same person. Wow! What a glorious transformation. Isn't she lovely? Firefighter Watkins enjoys riding that big red truck. She also likes to pose and let you know she has an important job with an extra special lifestyle. Yeah, I guess you can say she is totally into living her best life. Ms. Firefighter Mitchell got us all again, right? She doesn't even look like her second picture. Gone girl, just go head with your bad self. Black women fighting fires and saving lives is the way it was meant to be. Plus those great salaries to help raise a family helps the village a lot. You not only can share the profession of a firefighter being inclusive of black women. You can also share how your kids or maybe even yourself, can become a firefighter engineer like Firefighter Laidler. This lieutenant is in it to win it! To save lives, to follow safety rules to keep you safe, and guidelines to keep you alive. Lieutenant Gimore is the compliment the community adores.
This is my grandmother Lula. She is a legend to me. If you have been rocking with the SFM for the last few years you will see me mention her a lot. I will always keep her memory alive and I am so grateful I have a platform to do that. I miss her so much! I know her spirit is alive in all of her DNA. She was GOLDEN. She was the apotheosis of love, strength, family and support. She is and always will be remembered daily but especially on December 16. Black was always beautiful when you were around Ms. Lula. Our lives always mattered and she always let us know that growing up. Can we say team self-esteem Lula, yes! We love our grandma Lula. She was always sharp about giving us some of her wisdom, also letting us know a piece of her mind at all times. STOP! That's right, today is my granny's birthday and she LOVED eating greens so go eat you some greens today! She enjoyed collard, mustard, turnips, all of them. :0) Grandmothers are legends. They create multitudes of bloodlines. Take care of your bloodlines. Your grandparents worked hard and endured so much for you to be where you are. Yeah, I know you worked hard to get to where you are in life. You can't take all of the credit. It's more spiritual than natural. My grandmother was wonderful. I mean, she wasn't perfect but the older I get the more I think about all the wonderful times I spent with her and the lessons she taught me. I used to sit and talk to her all the time. Some of you will probably be grandmothers some day. Keep up the good work. If you aren't it's never too late to start doing good work! We all have little pieces of grandma Lula threaded inside of us. Lord knows, if I have to give someone a piece of my mind I channel the spirit of my granny Lula (lol) because she was excellent at that. Thank you Ms. Lula. We love you and miss you. We will always keep your legacy alive. This is a song for all those who love and adore their grandmothers. We are so thankful and blessed to have had a Lula Legend in our lives. Please learn these lyrics. It is a must!

Royalty begins, then it comes back to defend your middle passage of excellence towards your magic that never ends. Black Girls Rocked in dominant power that was oh so pretty as the 2019 Black Girls Rock! awards show was aired on BET Sunday night (September 8). Their signature was present, steady, and ready to uplift the spirit of true blissfulness; drowning you in the sisterhood you’ve been craving for. As I watched, I yearned for more of those Black Girls that Rocked in their unique style, their womanhood, and in their ivy league beauty. Black Girls that Rocked (non-stop) put deep dents of empowerment in the black girl’s hips, breeding confidence. Black Girls Rocked faith exceedingly, bleeding in a sober abundance of love covenants where Afros glowed in unity codes, signaling the embrace that they are the face of the human race. Black girls and women were doing it in influence as Black Girls that Rocked manifested dreams like Angela Basset purposely did as our Mother-Queen. Black Girls Rock as they continue to make all things work for their good! They reclaim they are certainly more and the contradiction of less does not define them. Black Girls Rock! is not a trendy word or phrase. It is where longevity meets a foison of emancipation; imperative to black women and black girls to masticate on until equality reigns. Angela’s legacy is trapped in the belly of longevity. Queen Basset received the Icon Award. Angela Basset is the lighthouse of sisterhood, unity, and a flaming hot work ethic. Angela has always represented as a Black Girl that Rocks! with grace. Angela reminds all Black Girls that Rock to never ever compromise your integrity. Always stay true to yourself. Her speech was the epitome of everything you thought you needed. She reminded Black Girls that Rocked how we are destined for greatness, so do not give up! She said our voices matter! “When you are told you are not good enough, you tell them, not only am I good enough, I am more than enough. When they say send her home, you tell them I am home. I am the foundation of what we call home! When they tell you, you’re angry or nasty, you tell them that they’re mistaken. This is me. This is me being resolute and standing firmly in my truth. And when they say you are not beautiful. You tell them that you are the descendant of royalty. And you are a queen.” This is why Angela is a Black Girl that Rocks! She rocks in her ‘gone girl’ magic as a producer, a director, an actress and as a Black Girl that has been Rocking for over 20 years in the entertainment industry. It is definitely Regina King’s season for grace and favor as she was honored for the Star Power Award. Did I mention she recently won a Golden Globe. Regina articulated how it’s is very imperative to have a platform where Black Girls that Rock can come together in their love and light to rock in each other’s inspiration. She is the intercession of stimulation. This is why Regina King is a Black Girl that Rocks! Let's talk about the goodies of Ciara. Did you know Ciara created her own entertainment company? Yes, she is such a boss-lady! She was acknowledged as our Rock Star. Ciara wanted her message to resonate profoundly with all the Black Girls that Rock but specifically with young girls. She told them that no one can close a door that God has opened for them and to believe in the power of manifestation. She also advised them to be patient. "Being your own click will be your strongest attribute." This is why Ciara is a Black Girl that Rocks! Debra Chase is a Shot Caller. She is a bad mama jamma for sure. This Black Girl that Rocks has been representing black women in film and television for over 30 years. She worked for Disney for 20 years. The singer Brandy starred in the first black Cinderella with Whitney Houston in light of Debra Chase pleading her case for black representation. Debra Chase is also responsible for bringing The Princess Diaries to life. Debra Martin Chase wanted to make content that was meant to help represent Black Girls that can Rock on the big mainstream screen. "We are so powerful when we stick together. We are unstoppable." This is why Debra Martin Chase is a Black Girl that Rocks! Gabriella Wilson (H.E.R) learned how to play four instruments by ear at 8 years old. She received the Young, Gifted & Black Award. She is an Asian and Black Girl that Rocks. She is a melting pot of musical genius. H.E.R individual style rocks in wow! Wilson's focus is dreaming big. H.E.R represented a message of motivation to all the Black Girls that Rocks! “We are limitless. We are inevitable. We refuse to be put in any kind of box. You can be whoever you want to be. We have the power to control our own narrative. We are dreamers and doers. True power resides in Black Girls that Rock." This is why H.E.R is a Black Girl that Rocks! I love her music! These women are the blessings against oppression. They are Sancti-Fly Mamas and courageous activist! They are anointed to fight and win! They are the main reason why we need our own moments. We need Mothers of The Movement! There sisterhood was up to nothing but goodness as they encouraged Black Girls that Rocked not to remain quiet when it comes to ensuring truth and justice is fluent for black families. The Mothers of The Movement: Sabrina Fulton, Maria Hamilton, Cleopatra Cowley, Lucy McBath, Geneva Round and Gwen Carr are standing up for racial equality in America. Each of the women had non violent children who were all killed by gun violence or by the police. Mothers of The Movement received the Change Agent Award. The Mamas wanted Black Girls that Rock to understand how important their voices are and to speak up against injustice. "We are our own definers. We must stand up for truth. We can't ignore this. We can't wish it away." This is why The Mothers of The Movement Rock!
I am so thankful to Beverly Bond for giving Black Girls that Rock the unity and glory of sharing our beautiful stories; giving us the power to have our moment and endure all the things we have conquered as we help to straighten our sistas crowns. I ain't never loved a show the way I love Black Girls Rock! You already know how much! Kudos to Niecy Nash for hosting the show. I adore Black Girls that Rock! Each year my affection intensifies! The tribute to Toni Morrison was a special recipe of awesome sauce. Continue to use your magic and spread it everywhere. This is why we rock! “In a world that often overlooks us until it’s time to imitate us, Black Girls Rock! It is time to uplift our own without apology." - Nicey Nash |
