the current insurrection of liberation. We can't stop and we won't stop! We want the liberty and justice that America wrote down on paper to consume the lives of black folks. If you enjoy listening to good music you can always find some of the best in our culture. Black Music Month is exactly what it states. It is designed to esteem black music and black culture (black excellence). As indicated in the HuffPost, the inception for June to be selected as Black Music Month came from President Jimmy Carter. It was further pushed into legislation by music producer Kenny Gamble and his ex-wife Mrs. Dyana Williams. Dyana is known as the Godmother of Black Music Month as noted by Ebony.✊🏿 ✊🏾
✊🏿 ✊🏾It's like a jungle sometimes it makes me wonder how we keep from going under, so we continue to stand up and fight the power. Freedom means we are able to breathe without the stones of privilege affecting our lungs. We believe there's going to be a brand new day as Black Music Month ends. We're focusing on winning the victory. I am devoting this third edition of Black Music Month to the current insurrection of liberation. Dyana is known as the Godmother of Black Music Month as noted by Ebony.✊🏿 ✊🏾 This is the national anthem for black men. It's like their sigh of relief song. Fight the power all day everyday. Have your way in researching those judges, keeping your eyes on these politicians and their policies, and lobbying for all of your change. Don't leave one cent left. No words! Please just sip on your tea, roll up a phat joint (its legal now 😂) just kidding, or drown yourself in your favorite coffee cup and listen. You have to slowly digest this one. FREEDOM COMETH RIGHT NOW! No more waiting. You do know black folks are American citizens? We need freedom too! We are going to continue to stand up. We are going to continue taking the stick and putting it together so we can lobby for the change we demand to manifest in our lives. We put on our entire full armor for the battle. After we have done it all to stand, we shall stand. Freedom fighting lyrics, you must hear it! Parental advisory is a little bit on the scene. This liberation song by Nick Cannon is very heavy in lots of truth. Just think about what he is articulating before you snuggle up close with your feelings. Stand for what? You can taste it. It's so sweet and delicious. You can smell it. It smells like a fresh movement of change. You can feel it. A force of all God's children declaring an end to white supremacy. The sun is shining for us. A brand new day.

I so get it! We were all taken by surprise when the corona epidemic came on the scene. It quickly turned from an epidemic into a pandemic. This is serious so please take it very seriously. If you can dip into avoiding going out, please do it. The death rate is growing daily and there is no cure. I understand some folks feel like it’s a joke or some kind of governmental conspiracy but you can’t deny people all over the world are dying from it. It is real! What are you going to do? Are you going to receive the warnings and take huge sips on social distancing yourself from others to keep your family and community safe? I hope and pray you are washing your hands consistently. Now is the time to pay attention to your body if you usually don't. When the panic-attack from the coronavirus hit, it hit us hard! I could not get water for almost 2 weeks. It was severely ridiculous. I so get it! Most people thought the world was ending and they wanted to have at least some water with their last super. Now the nerves have calmed down a little bit. The lines are still long but at least you can get toilet paper and water now. Most stores are limiting consumers from taking bulks and bulks of items. I wish they would have done that before but I so get it. This is new for all of us. We are all trying to work through it and figure it out daily. One thing you can do is join the movement of people who are trying their best to stay upbeat and positive amidst the coronavirus. Individuals all over the world are singing it out, dancing it out, and having virtual hangout parties to support, uplift and encourage each other. Laughter always helps. Ladies, you can even flirt with some of my men, I don't mine. Church services are being held online so you can still get your dosage of the gospel. Don't be shy, engage yourself in some of these virtual behaviors. This doctor did an excellent job of breaking down how the coronavirus attacks and kills in the video. It is imperative information. The tips you should b looking out for are: chest pain, shortness of breath, fever cough (usually dry), diarrhea, elevated heart rate, abdominal pain, headache, body aches, loss of taste/smell and vomiting. Disinfect anything you touch if you have any of these symptoms and quarantine your lovely self for 14 days. Be careful taking ibuprofen. It may exacerbate or worsen the symptoms.
Drinking warm or hot liquids are good to help fight viruses. So please indulge in drinking tea, hot chocolate, coffee, and soups. Avoid cold beverages. Drink warm water. Hydrate your body with lots of water. You have a right to fight back. Get some eucalyptus essential oil to remove congestion and keep your airways clear. Steam is a good friend during these times so steam your body and your face. Double up on your vitamin C. The coronavirus is an attack on your immune and respiratory system. Shield yourself in plenty of healthy eating and rest. Be well Sancti-Fly Mamas and Sancti-Fly Papas. What is it that you get? Do you allow understanding to slip by you with no evidence of empathy and sympathy attached to your humanity? Are you a person who is always so quick to judge, drowning in stereotypes with all of your lovely might? As my Lula (grandmother) used to say, keep on living, you'll get it. I pray that you will! MALCOLM X El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz I salute this empyrean king who spoke truth to power, born on May 19. I thought it would be appropriate to give Sancti-Fly homage to the fabric of Malcolm Little that gave birth to Malcolm X. Malcolm was born to achieve, lead, to restore, and to overcome. His parents were both caught in the web of white supremacy. As a child his father Earl Little, was murdered by the white supremacist organization, Black Legions. Malcolm X family was bullied and harassed strategically for years by the Black Legions in light of Earl Little being an activist, supporter of Marcus Garvey and a black nationalist Baptist preacher. Malcolm's mother, Louise Little had a mental breakdown when they murdered her husband. She was placed in a mental institution. Malcolm and his siblings were raised in foster homes and orphanages as a result of their parents' tragedy. Do you think your life would be different if you had a similar chapter in your life like Malcolm? Do you understand why a little black boy would be misled into a life of crime? I'm sure if your mom and dad was taken away from you at a young age, your life would have turned out a little different in the beginning. Can you imagine living with your sisters and brothers then all of a sudden, being separated from them? Malcolm X was not a saint. When he went to jail for burglary he was introduced to the Muslim religion and became proactive in the Nation of Islam under the spiritual guidance of Elijah Muhammad. He had warrior blood pumping through his veins, with a mixture of black nationalism and civil rights in it. Malcolm X was a natural intellectual. Elijah could see it. He made Malcolm X the national spokesman for the Nation of Islam. Malcolm soared high in his position. He was very successful opening up new temples in many different states. He was well-known locally and nationally. He loved black people! He didn't trust white people, nor did he like them very much because of his history with the Klan and his background experience with them as a child. As a Muslim, he was taught that white folks were against the progression of black folks. It was not a lie! The Tulsa riots can attest to that. When Malcolm X went to Mecca it changed the trajectory of his ideology within his Muslim faith. He saw brothers and sisters who were Muslims of all skin tones. They treated each other as brothers and sisters despite skin color. He even changed his name from Malcolm X to El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz after his pilgrimage to Mecca. Jealousy made it's entrance in the Nation of Islam coupled with the fear of the FBI. They were nervous about black men uniting with other like-minded black people. White supremacy was rampant in the land. Yes, even in the FBI. It is alleged that three members of the Nation of Islam and the men with the badges (FBI) killed Malcolm X. He was shot multiple times at a unity rally in New York at the Audubon Ballroom on February 21, 1965. Malcolm X has a notorious spirit that is still active; surviving and thriving. He is a man we indeed, will always reverence as a humanist, an activist, and a threat to white supremacy. He was against oppression and injustice. I wasn't even born but he was fighting for me to be treated as a human being. Malcolm gave us the truth about chemical warfare, spiritual warfare, economic warfare and medical warfare. He is and was inspirational warfare. He taught us to stand up for what was right by any means necessary. I understand how easily distorted truth can be. Certain folks lust to change the narrative when it comes to black people and black history. Self respect and self-esteem were the rich things Malcolm X gave us. Malcolm X taught us to love ourselves, do for ourselves, and unite to control our own destinies. He told black women we were fearfully and wonderfully made to rock our magic in the beauty Yah made us in. There is so much going on today. George Floyd was murdered in daylight by 4 police officers, Ahmaud Arbery was shot to his death while he was jogging and Breonna Taylor was killed in her home. Taylor's house was the wrong house. I don't fully grasp how politicians and those who say they love Jesus, both black and white, can remain so silent. Malcolm spoke out about police brutality in 1960 and here we are in 2020 following the yellow brick road of an American government who has allowed violence against black folks for centuries. What do you suggest we do? If Malcolm was alive today, things would be different. In order for America to live up to it's legacy, America would have to make liberty and justice normal for black people. Clean your house up America!
KATHERINE JOHNSON (1918-2020) The length and width of mathematical black excellence in Katherine Johnson’s life is an authentic testimony to the world how hidden figures and hidden colors are left out of American history. Katherine Johnson’s legacy will be in the belly of longevity. Katherine Johnson’s algebraic genius for numbers was as deep as the Pacific Ocean. Katherine was an African American mathematician who worked for NASA during 1950-1980. She accurately calculated the mathematics for the Apollo 11. Katherine Johnson, along with a group of other black girls that rocked, successfully worked that black girl magic as black women in the space program. Hidden Figures is an exceptional movie about Katherine Johnson’s life. Taraji P. Henson efficaciously played Katherine in the movie. If you haven’t watched that movie (Hidden Figures) I highly recommend it. I know you have a little time now.
Giving homage to a woman like Mrs. Katherine Johnson’s love, light, and legacy is imperative to the history of black folks. I had no clue of these black women working for NASA. When I saw the movie I thought this was critical to share with the children in my community. Why didn't we know this? This is why it was called Hidden Figures. You are responsible for educating your own children about their history. No one else is going to do it! Mrs. Katherine Johnson and the rest of her African American sisters at NASA, laid a solid foundation of representation for other women like Mae Jemison and your scholar STEM babies. Johnson not only changed the historical trajectory of black women in math and science doing Jim Crow, she also overcame all of the segregation and discrimination she faced in a white male dominated field. One thing she taught us is knowledge is more potent than someone disliking you because of your skin color. The black women who worked for NASA had a skill that was needed. When you have a proficiency that other people need you will always be a marketable asset. Katherine Johnson died this year in the month of February (2020). She was the only living legend able to see a movie depicting her career at NASA, out of the other two women (Mary Jackson & Dorothy Vaughan) that worked closely by her side. Johnson (Taraij P. Henson), Jackson (Janelle Monáe), and Vaughan (Olivia Spencer), all starred in the film Hidden Figures. They were the main characters in the film. These jazzy women were known as live computers with high heels and a fancy for fearlessness. They overcame all the sexism and racism! They managed to do their jobs fluently in their purpose as they helped astronauts safely journey into space and back. Katherine Johnson definitely had that gone-girl magic! Chicago filmmakers are extremely fluid, on their grind at all times. I have a host of friends and family members who work in the entertainment industry, therefore I must represent Chicago locals always! If ever there was a time to defeat feeling overwhelmed with all these coronavirus news updates and information, the time is now! I encourage you to relax and release all your stress by watching any of the films below. I have a wealth of Sancti-Fly movies to overshare. Deep Production Studios has done it again! Lawrence Lee Wallace is introducing a stain of terror and suspense in another great film. “To Your Last Death” is an animated thriller. This movie is guaranteed to take your mind off the coronavirus, as you will be wrapped up tight in the shakiness of horror. “To Your Last Death” has also been featured at the Pasadena Film Festival in Las Angeles, California. You are very welcome to delight in well-known voices like William Shatner (Star Trek), Billy Mosley (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Ray Wise (Fresh off the Boat) and Morena Baccarin (Gotham) who all star in this film. The good thing about filmmakers like Lawrence Lee Wallace is, he understands his craft. Wallace refuses to limit his creativity to just one genre. You can purchase this film just about everywhere. I believe this is the first animated film he has produced. Enjoy! It's so good! We could not wait to see, “Bad boy, bad boys. Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you?” The previews had us all hooked. We were all waiting in anticipation for the release date. If you saw the first two Bad Boy movies, the third one did not disappoint. The action in this film was complete satisfaction in Bad Boys III. I really liked how they tied their ages into the story. They are getting older. You already know having Will Smith and Lawrence Martin together again in this film was hilarious! You need to laugh! They’re magical! You have to watch it, especially if you crave action movies. Even if this was their last film, Will and Martin will be bad boys for life. Anybody else coming to continue these chapters will have big shoes to fill. Inspirational warfare knocked me off my feet with this movie. When you watch this Nextflix film you will feel nourished in empowerment. My girlfriend watched it and she told me she made her some home-made hair creme after she came in contact with this movie, lol (laughing out loud). You have to watch this. It's such a great movie. Madam C.J. Walker was one of the hardest working women you will ever have the history of knowing about. She did pay a price for her success. She did not let anything stop her from reaching her dreams and she did dream big. You can too! I didn't even know the name she became famous for was her King Papa husband's name. She just put Madam at the front of it. Her husband's name was C.J. Walker! This movie will force you into believing you can do it! Whatever it is, you can do it! There is always a way! Watch it with your kids, especially your girls. Madam C.J. Walker was a phenomenal woman who rocked that" gone girl" magic way back in the early 1900. What if you could read your man’s thoughts? Not only his thoughts but all men thoughts? It might be too much to handle, or maybe you could benefit from it. In the movie “What Men Want,” Taraji Penda Henson inherits the power to read all men minds. All of this mind reading will absolutely have your mind far away from the coronavirus and other things that are heavy weight. Having an imagination is crucial to flirt with in order to have a healthy creative mind. I recall in the movie "Self-Made" about Madam C.J Walker's life, she envisioned things all the time in her mind and used her imagination a lot. In the film "When They See Us" Korey Wise used his imagination to keep his mind strong while he was in prison. All his friends were released earlier than he was. Use your imagination at all times no matter where you find yourself in life. In this particular movie, the people who came up with the narrative definitely had a great deal of imagination. Their vision came to pass! Allow Taraji Henson to teach you all about “What Men Want.” Hobbs & Shaw will have you on the edge of your seats. The Rock will have you blushing a lot! Okay, I'll speak for myself. There are so many twists and turns of action oozing all in this movie. The women in this movie rocked girl power proudly. This is one of those movies that leaves you wanting for more. The special effects was off the chain (good). It's about time for you to snuggle up close with Hobbs & Shaw. I personally think it's super fantastic to see black love portrayed on the big screen anytime the opportunity presents itself. This movie is a must see film. Its against the law not to see this film, in my opinion. The realism in this film is bitter sweet. This is the kind of movie you have to watch more than once. You always miss certain things then when you watch it again you catch what you didn't even know you missed. I was also pleased with the fact of this story shedding light on the issues black folks encounter when they are sometimes stopped by law enforcement. This movie is very necessary! I often wonder how black men and black women feel who are police officers during these unpredictable times and culture. For the record there is a huge difference between disliking the behavior of police officers and hating all officers. Don't try to change the narrative. This movie was so good! It gives you a better understanding of what good cops and bad cops do; what they have to endure. Of course I know quite a few police officers so you know I did ask. The majority of officers have articulated they haven't experienced any of the actions the woman in this movie went through. I surmise, but if they did have a few corruption testimonies would they really share that with me? Tyrese Gibson represented black boy joy to his core in this film. When you become a police officer, regardless of your race, you are blue now! It means different things to different people as you will see in this movie." Black and Blue" is packed with everything dramatic plus action.
GEORGE STINNEY George Stinney was a 14 year old black boy who is the youngest person in the history of America to be executed. They used the electric chair to punish him for a crime he didn't even do. This was back in 1944 when segregation was legal and the life of black folks didn't matter. Jim Crow was haunting black people and showing them just how bad he was, and still is. Our American government did not protect the rights of black people as indicated throughout the history of this American nation. White supremacy destroyed George Stinney family and wiped out his life. George life is one of the most significant reasons why black people are due for reparations. The symbolism of a black man or male doing anything to a white girl or female goes way back in history. It's profound. Even if it's a lie, if a white person said you did something it must be true because to them you meant nothing! If a white female said a black male did something to her, his entire life is over. Black men have been lynched, thrown in jail without any evidence, just like they did to George Stinney and so many other black men who lives do matter. White women who use these kinds of wicked tactics know the history of this kind of fear they impose into the lives of black men when they do this. Those white women and men who make the choice of doing it, know black men can lose their lives over a lie. In George case, two white girls went missing in Alcolu, South Carolina. Someone said George did it, that he killed the two girls. The police did not investigate. They came and took him to jail. His parents didn't have money for a lawyer. The police lied. They said that George confessed to killing the two white girls. It didn't cross their minds that the killer could have been a white man or person. It was a white man that killed the two girls. This is not foreign to black people. It happens often to those in the black community and to poor people. Black men are not given the benefit of the doubt. Why would a nation that promotes being "the land of the free" not extend it to all of its citizens that are not free? It should be illegal to coerce black men and boys into false confessions. The democrats and the other parties are aware of what has been allowed to go on yet, where is the outrage of public paid individuals not doing their jobs right? Why is this still acceptable? We live in a country where we sing about liberty and justice for all. Black people are not included in that part, right? They kept George Stinney in jail for 30 days knowing that he didn't do it. Then they illegally executed him. They are still doing it. They take black men and boys to jail. They don't have any evidence. They keep them in jail for years, if they can't post bail knowing they didn't do it. The constitution states there shall be no excessive bails imposed, so why isn't America following that? What kind of men and women prosecutors do we have working for our state governments? Obviously, we have the ones who don't do the right thing. They have no integrity or respect for the profession they chose to do. Thankfully all hope is not lost. It never is. Yah also has his people in position to reform the wrongs and make it right. My notice of motion message to all young black people and young adults living at home is, try to understand why your family and parents are a little hard on you from time to time, even if they're hard on you all the time. This is one of the main reasons why. You are valued and loved by your family. Your parents see worth all over you. Sadly, George Stinney was snatched from his protective covenant and wrongfully convicted of killing two young white girls. The spirit of supremacy is very loyal to racial injustice. George life mattered just like Emmett Till, George Floyd, George Fuller, Elijah McClain, Breonna Taylor and countless other black folks. When black people say "Black Lives Matter "it simply means, they matter too! They have rights too! They are human beings too! They have a family who loves them too! Historically, there is confirmation of why it is stated and currently. If you are a mom or dad, I know you can empathize with how George parents must have felt, regardless of your lovely nationality, religion, or political party. Look at George Stinney face in the picture above. He is confused and scared for his life. The hatred and terror George experienced was embraced by the foundation of America (racism). His American black life didn't matter in a criminal justice system written by men who purposely could care less about a black boy. Also, they didn't give any attention to treating the people who they have always seen as property and had no disregard for their lives, no matter if it is 1944 or 2020. In 2014 George Stinney name was cleared of the murder charges. Lord have mercy because they had none for George. Residents of Alcolu wanted to bring back the honor to George Stinney's name that was stolen. They vowed to place a tombstone in his honor for the injustice done to him. A man by the name of Jerome Dupree permitted a memorial tombstone in his front yard for George. The town of Alcolu has moved on from their racial tensions. The all-white jury that condemned George Stinney to his death all have to live what they have done if they are still living. The county and judicial system owes his family reparations for what they did. Period! America, you can't continue to consent to a system put in place to extend white supremacy, upholding racial injustices, and hatred tossed around in inequality. It has had its way for too long. It has interfered with the liberty and justice of black folks. It has crippled and blinded the self-evident truth that all men are created the same, for generations. How is that the pursuit of happiness? The majority of American people are not in support of it.
JAMES BALDWIN Gormandizing in fluent pinches of radicalism to get America’s attention, James Baldwin made a moral decision to use his gifts to help elevate the Civil Rights Movement. The hype of James Baldwins literary gigabytes gave American black folks the greatest premeditated light to turn on during the era of the 50's, 60’s and 70’s. Black folks could see themselves as black excellence and mortal. James Baldwin was born to tell the narratives America was not ready to receive. Ready or not, he went on to "Go Tell It On The Mountain" any way. White folks could listen in, but they could not control the volume of his voice. If they didn’t like it, they had the option to close the book. James Baldwin also expressively told America He was "Not Their Negro.” The residue from slavery, (hate, racism and discrimination) are still breathing on us heavy and hard but it cannot hinder you from going forward with the plans, purpose and destiny God predestined for you to conquer. Did you know James Baldwin was a proficient writer at a young age? Yes! At the age of 14 he was a preacher but he quit that job at 17 and later moved to France. Baldwin did not feel like he could flourish as a man or as a writer in America. The genocidal empire of racism and injustice towards the plight of black people made America very unattractive to James Baldwin. Baldwin was threaded as a thematic antidote of hope for the dilemma of black people and the Civil Rights Movement. He lived what he wrote about. His novels, films, essays, poems and plays made ways out of the desolation, adoration, conviction, and trepidation in black folks faces and behind their backs during those times. I encourage you, your friends and family to read all Baldwin’s pieces of literature. Some of his most popular novels include: Go Tell It on the Mountain. This book came out in 1953 and reflects Baldwin's own life growing up in church. This book was also made into a movie; Notes of A Native Son was published in 1955 and this book spoke to the issues in the Civil Rights Movement in the form of essays; Giovanni’s Room came out in 1956 and this book was very taboo considering it dealt with homosexuality in a hot and steamy way; In 1962 Another Country was distributed. This book talks about love, suicide, mental health and bisexuality; The Fire Next Time was printed in 1963. This book examines Christianity, race and racism in America in the form of essays; Going to Meet The Man was available in 1965. This book of short stories gives you jazz musicians, angry men and dirty cops. If Beale Street Could Talk was a 1974 novel made into a movie in 2018 dealing with love and injustice. I Am Not your Negro came out in 2017. Before Baldwin died he had a lot of notes, books interviews and letters that formulated this book. It’s a tribute to Malcolm X, Martin Luther King and Meager Evers. This book was also made into a movie. There certainly is no mystery, James Baldwin was born to write, to help you think, and to leave some of his plans and purpose in the pages of American history. As an American activist, author and writer, James Baldwin's novels, plays and essays made black folks intelligently brave enough to question why they had to fight for civil rights as American citizens. As a black man, Baldwin strongly felt the legality of America was still managed by slave codes. No doubt, Baldwin histrionically knew how to get his point across. Make sure you snuggle up close with some James Arthur Baldwin books. It is very necessary for black children to read about a man who tackled issues that we are trying to overcome today, right now, at this very hour! Baldwin spoke truth to power to let those who are still fighting oppression, depression and recession know they still matter. You still matter! Your children and family still matter! James Baldwin maximized the worth and humanity of black people that was hijacked by white supremacy. “They needed us for labor and sports now they can’t get rid of us. We cannot be exiled.” James Baldwin Staggerlee wonders by James Baldwin "Staggerlee wonders" is just one of many poems produced by James Baldwin. There are 4 pieces to this poem. I used an excerpt from the poem but you can view the entire poem of Staggerlee wonders right here.
This is a new category I created during the last quarter of 2019, surrounding the ingredients of Instagram. I am always striving to do different things on SFM. This controversial piece is kind of like my Twitter Tweets of The Week. I cruise around Twitter and talk about many random things trending but this time it will be with post from Instagram. Sometimes there is audio so please don't forget to click on the links in purple to listen in. Enjoy! Who runs the world? These 8 black girls do, that’s who! Isn’t it remarkable to see a photographic image of 8 black female firefighters putting out fires with their shero capes? Do you notice how fearless they look with their magic melanin wands on standby? They are ready to leap from tall buildings, saving, delivering, and setting the captives free from burning fires. These ladies are black history. These black women embody a power that is foudroyant, stitched in excellence that is very pretty. An image like this is powerful yet imperative to little black girls and women in every village because it is rare to see. The field is dominated by men, but it feels good to see these women showing off the diversity and representation of the profession. When black girls that rock see other women, who look like them doing it, they believe they can do it if they desire it. Then they thrive in that achievement. WHO RUN THIS MOTHER? THOSE BLACK FIREFIGHTING WOMEN GIRLS! :) This Instagram post is really Sancti-Fly + dope. In the video they are discussing why our society still needs Black History Month. Its rather comical but well said. You do know some folks are like, “Why do we need a black history month?” In this video they share why. Just google black women at work. It will give you some insight as to why. America is still segregated. If you have folks in the dominant society that only want you to learn about their European history and not your own then, that is a problem. Black children, men, and women are attacked for having a different grade of hair and hairstyles than their European counterparts. I thought diversity and acceptance was the theme preached in our society. I could write a book on many reasons why we need to celebrate it. I’m sure if you were honest with yourself, you could come up with reasons why as well. Hey you guys, thanks for stopping by SFM. I need you to act right and be nice because it is black history month. I would hate to get my ancestors on you (lol). You have got to listen to this Instagram post. I deliciously enjoyed this man. If you need a smile and a good laugh get ready to let it out! You will as you watch this video. Google showed up and showed off king of the dunk, the Prince, the poet, the media mogul and the tennis Serene queen, in a compilation of African American people who made Google history by being the most searched individuals. This was nice to watch. I only named a few but others like Queen Bey was also in the mix. Don't assassinate Kobe Bryant's character, dang! This lady in this picture can be on my board anytime she wants. She is the type of person we all can learn something from. She is authentic, she represents realism coupled with good ethics. In this post, she speaks about a journalist trying to slander Kobe Bryant's name in light of some alleged rape case he was involved in. The man is still waiting to be funeralized and folks are drinking and eating their slander meals on the side and up front. This woman poignantly expresses her disagreement with the lady who wrote an article on Kobe. "As a journalist it is your job to objectively report the news." This young brother is giving us a few black seeds of history. He certainly has the sagacity to understand the times we are living in verses the times his parents and grandparents lived in. It's wonderful to have meaning and passion in your thoughts at a young age. The development can only get better if you stay woke on the tracks. We can learn something from any and all people. If they are young or old, it doesn't matter. DeAndre Arnold was told that he could not graduate from high school in light of Barbers Hill Independent public school telling him, having hair pass his ear was prohibited. This is why we need black history. What in the world, kind of policy is that? I am pretty sure his dreadlocks played the main character that they desired to assassinate. His hair is nicely groomed from what I can see. DeAndre's hair is beautiful. Is it me, or does it seem like black people are constantly being attacked for some reason or another regarding their natural hair? This is very unnecessary. Ellen has big angel-wings. She gave the young Texan, Mr. Arnold a $20,000 scholarship. DeAndre is winning! He will be just fine. If people can't accept you for who you are, I think they have the problem. This was so inspirational! I saved the best Kobe lessons for last. Please do not forget to click on the video and watch it! Kobe Bryant spirit lives on through all those friends, family members and fans who adored him. In this video, he is encouraging all of us to be our best selves and to live in our purpose. When you do that, you love what you do. When you love what you do it shows. There is a glow that shines on you that no one can touch. "Always be curious, always seek out things you love and always work hard." (Kobe Bryant)
Thank you to all of the soldiers for your service. I would like to give special acknowledgement to all the African American soldiers who died fighting for this country and those who didn't get to see any light, only the pitch black darkness of hate! Black men served honorably but they were treated like second class citizens.
Enjoy! Listen up young people, and millennials. I know some of you guys think your mom and dads are too old to understand things in your world. Everything about them is obsolete to you. Where do you think you got your swag, brilliance and dope dance moves? That's right! You got it from yo' momma! This mom and daughter is doing the Toosie Slide Challenge and the mom represents quite well. At first we had the mother and daughter doing the Toosie Slide Challenge. Now we have these adorable scholar babies using their God-given talents to blow your mind! It is so nice to see kids being allowed to be kids. They nailed it! I believe you will watch this multiply times and get something different out of it each time. Brother Richard Dawson is the original host of the Family Feud game show. This man had all of the ladies. Check out how he was able to kiss every woman who was a guest on his show. I would be very uncomfortable allowing him to kiss me IN THE LIPS. No thank you Mr. Dawson. Was he married? I mean, did his wife see anything wrong with kissing all of those women in the mouth? Alvin didn’t think Mrs. Claire Huxtable did that kind of thing. The young lady in this Instagram post did a very good job playing Mrs. Huxtable. I love it! "What Kind of thing? Serve whom? Oh, serve him. As in serve your man. Let me tell you something Alvin." "Ya see I am not serving Dr. Huxtable, okay. That’s the kind of thing that goes on in a restaurant. Now I'm going to bring him a cup of coffee just like he brought me a cup of coffee this morning." "And that young man is what marriage is made of. It is give and take, 50/50." "If you don’t get it together and drop these macho attitudes. You are never going to have anybody bringing you anything, anywhere, any place, anytime ever." "Now, what would you like in your coffee?" Warning, if you have little ones around, you might want to go into another room. This video is rather creative but there are a few words that should be heard by adults only, used in the video. These two young brothers were bored being on lock down but they managed to use one of Snoop Dogg's hit songs to titivate some excitement in their lives. We are going to need all of our family and friends to take this coronavirus seriously. Just listen to this brother talk about how serious it has impacted his life. This Instagram post is the very reason why we keep bringing attention to the race issue in America. It is shameful. This doctor was using his gifts to give charity to those less likely to receive his care. How do you get handcuffed for doing good in your community? There is no excuse for this. Thankfully his wife was able to save the day. If this was anyone else articulating that they was a doctor, there would not be a need to talk about post like this. It simply would NOT happen. No we cannot quarantine racism. Racism is a spirit that must be dealt with on a spiritual level. These two unwise teenagers wanted to shoot a video about folks that are different from them. The video was quickly condemned and the students were expelled. The two seniors not only made their parents proud (not), they put a deep stain of negative energy on the Carrollton High School. I surmise this is what some follks enjoy doing to take their minds off of the coronavirus. Thanks for letting the world know your true feelings. Kyle Larson didn't know his microphone was recording him for the world to hear when he thought no one heard him saying the N-word. Of course he was sorry and apologized AFTER he got caught. I bet it is not going to be the last time he uses it. A lot of folks use that word. Is it just a word? Well, there is a different frequency attached to the word when certain individuals (wypipo) use that word. No, I am not surprised by the word. Most of us know this word is used by both whites and blacks. I personally like to know who I am dealing with up front. The best response to this was given by Ms. Sherry Shehpeard. "I just love when they say “I certainly wasn’t raised this way” Probably his sponsors started dropping his ass and he had to come correct -#shame"- (Sherry Shepheard) Listen to the sweetest melody of these six family members. It's such a beautiful passion. Don't be surprised if they have an album next year. If they were just doing this because they love to sing or want to pursue a music career, it will surely come to pass. God bless these scholar babies with the desires of their hearts and protective parents. The entertainment industry can be tough. Protect your kids by any means necessary. Lord knows I can testify to hearing my mama and my aunts plus my Lula say this. The Black Mama Pep Talk is so real in the black community. Some women can really use this pep talk right about now. Don't say nothing, don't touch nothing, and don't be acting like you all hungry when we go over there. This made me laugh my butt off (LMBO). This European woman is using her privilege for good as we all should. If you are a person of influence or in any position to do what is right, gone head and do it. I respect her position of leadership and applaud her for having a heart and desire to care about all children but this particular clip is her concern for African American children. This police officer should run for president. He has sound judgement with a twist of some good old fashion common sense. This man cares about American folks and American workers. He is a bit perturbed about a few things going on in our government and he wants to get it off of his chest.Welcome to truth dot com! The best little angel was saved for last. I usually try to do only about 7 or 8 of these post but this time around there were too many post that I couldn't ignore. We are all going through a lot of different challenges and trials right now. This young cup of sweetness wants you to not worry about a thing. He says, because every little thing is going to be alright. Out of the mouth of babes comes some comfort for you. God can use any living soul! I hope you receive this and believe it. Please pass this on to someone else.
