When we come together the weather is better. Love feels more magical. The vibration is brewing a new generation of wealth that will be protected and ruling in many years to come. I just want to reiterate, saying again and again, that I love changing up this type of narrative. This particular story makes me united in my Sancti-Fly excitement. Why? When children see other elementary kids that look like them doing important positive things, it helps them see how possible it is for them to attain. I often try to listen to this weekly Sunday talk radio show called Chicago Speaks. This week I was able to chime in and I heard about this little girl with this glowing big heart, named Avery. This black girl rocked her magic by starting a nonprofit organization to help girls in foster care take care of their hair. Avery is aware how impactful it is for little girls to look good and feel their very best. Your hair is your glory. In 2023 at the age of 8 years old, Avery's Helpful Hair Kits made its mark in the world. I've always heard folks say, it's the little things that count. It really is! Who would have ever thought a child in second grade like Avery, was pregnant with so much vision to influence her community. Wow! We want all of our scholar babies nurtured in this way. We tend to forget about the challenges and the cost families face when they have foster children in their care. Hair care products can be very expensive. Avery did not forget about her peers. I know (you do too) that some of you guys have an Avery or two in your house. 

When you pour goodness into any human beings there will always be love and light in return, for the most part. When you plant seeds of investment and pour goodness into your own children or young people you help to raise, you place them in a position to help run the world. Who runs the world? Your children will if you continue to smother them in the wellness of love and light. Kudos to all the moms and dads who understand this.  Your kids are important. They have great purpose and destiny to fulfill. Help them.

Erin's Cup is located west of 111th street on the South Side of Chicago in the Morgan Park area. This is such a wonderful story. Erin is one of those kids that was addicted to the taste and smell of coffee. It was her destiny to be the queen-teen of coffee. Inspirational warfare never tasted better at Erin's Cup. You already know I enjoy changing up the narrative when it comes to melanated people. Yeah, so "bump" all of that negative energy (bump that). If you research our history, you will find the hidden chapters and all of the lost volumes of men and women like Erin and her mama who owned a great deal of Black OWNED Black love. As a De La Salle high school student, Erin can't run her business by herself and remain successful in her academics. Theater 47 is an inspirational treasure to all the local folks in the south suburbs. They don't have to travel far to enjoy John Ruffin's sold-out stage plays. Earlier in his career as a writer, Yahweh told John Ruffin that nothing could stop or block what God told him to rock, therefore John Ruffin rocks hard on every detail of his stage productions. This is probably the reason why every time John Ruffin begins to win with the stroke of his pen, brilliance leaks out and all of his shows are 'sanging' (not singing) "We are sold out."

I swear everybody I know who attended Thornton Township High School are all superstars. Most importantly, they're humble and smart cookies in that business. There is some kind of special magical bliss attached to that school. I am pleased to be connected to so many beautiful spirits who went to the same school as John Ruffin. I promise you they are all leaving their marks in the history books of this world and Thornton High School. They all believed that they could. This black man can! This black man did! This black man is doing it big! I am so happy for Mr. Ruffin. John Ruffin stepped out on faith, and he did what Yahweh instructed him to do. I am so proud of him. I know you're like "she always says that about black men" and you're right. If you have been part of this SFM journey with me, you know I sincerely mean it. It is such a small world. I used to attend the same church John was a member of. He was consistently active using his craft in the church doing plays and producing programs. Allow me to testify right now (Iet the church music play in the background). Don't worry, I won't be before you long, and I promise not to be jumping around in the church. I am a witness to the calling Yahweh has ordained over John's life. I was actually in church the day a prophet called John Ruffin out of his pew to speak all the things into his life that he is doing, right now. It all has come to pass! Yes, it's so amazing to watch it all unfold when you were in the service for all of that sweet confirmation. The man of God, (as they say in church), or prophet, also told John Ruffin that he was going to be doing plays and movies just like Tyler Perry. He said John Ruffin was going to be a household name. John Ruffin's brand name is a brand I hope you will continue to support. He is just going to go up higher and higher. The glorious thing about it all is, John Ruffin will take some of you with him. Ask all of the folks who started with Tyler Perry and Spike Lee from the beginning.  

Melanated men need our claps and support, especially when they're dwelling in purpose driven living. When I can help to promote the positive narratives that focus on black male images and stories, you already know I am pleased to do it. The dominant society still struggles with the word diversity, and they are very comfortable with keeping melanated men in a box. Melanated men are not all the same, despite what you see on the news. When we have men like John Ruffin living in his legacy, this helps other melanated men drink tall cups of belief so they can achieve their dreams too.

Everyone is talking about this Theater 47 production. I tried to get tickets, but I am ecstatic (yes...OMG) to report that all shows for this John Ruffin production is sold all the way out to the dry bone. There are no more tickets. It's gone! Turn Off The Lights is dripping in a special sauce of success and blessed. I think we all need to take a chance and purchase our tickets in advance. Please try earlier than usual because John Ruffin's household name is inflamed with a distinctive, worldwide support. People come all the way from the South, North, East and West, in their Sunday's best, from many states to get their peace, love and happiness from Theater 47. When we think about eating a cold cut sandwich, or peanut butter and jelly most folks take for granted which brands of bread they use. They usually try to get what they can afford or get the brand they like. I encourage you to be more conscious towards the companies you give your money to. Research them. It is extremely important to support black owned businesses, especially when our inequality within the wealth gap is still uneven. Three King-Papas got together for the creation of a bread company because they saw a need. Melanated black folks will always strive to give birth to something of our own, proudly. This is what our ancestors did plenty of times. It's in our blood. Read up on your history and you'll see all of the individuals who look just like you, who were business owners. I am not saying it's right or wrong because as an individual you like what you like. No matter who owns it. I wish that idea can be reciprocated. I believe it is changing. If you like a product and find out it's owned by melanated people, please do not stop supporting them.

What I am saying is, if you intentionally want to see your dollars multiplied into your community, please make sure it is authentically owned by melanated folks. When you guys see this brand, you know its black owned.

Introducing the men behind the brand of Black Bread Company. James Lewis, Charles Alexander, and Mark Edmond are the entrepreneurs behind the Black Bread Company. They are from Flossmoor, IL. Can we give a big hand clap to these men! I used to go to the store and say exactly what Edmond said. I always look for melanated brands I can support. I would often go to grocery stores and wondered why we didn't have a bread company of our own. Now we do!  Lewis, Alexander, and Edmond came together to become the very first black owned bread company in the United States. The main focus was representation. There were no black owned bread companies. This is such a major big deal. I didn't even know these black men (that win) started their company in 2021. These guys are showing us that we can do it too! What things do you notice that have no representation of you and your community? Well, create it. Invent it. You can do it! Are there any products that you can make better? We thrive collectively as a community when we put our ideas together and make it happen. I wish Black Bread Company the best successful journey for years and generations to come as they create more wealth for their kids and families. I do not know these men personally, but I am beaming with pride. I am super excited and proud of them.
