Why would a nation that promotes being "the land of the free" not extend it to all of its citizens that are not free? It should be illegal to coerce black men and boys into false confessions. The democrats and the other parties are aware of what has been allowed to go on yet, where is the outrage of public paid individuals not doing their jobs right? Why is this still acceptable? We live in a country where we sing about liberty and justice for all. Black people are not included in that part, right? They kept George Stinney in jail for 30 days knowing that he didn't do it. Then they illegally executed him. They are still doing it. They take black men and boys to jail. They don't have any evidence. They keep them in jail for years, if they can't post bail knowing they didn't do it. The constitution states there shall be no excessive bails imposed, so why isn't America following that? What kind of men and women prosecutors do we have working for our state governments? Obviously, we have the ones who don't do the right thing. They have no integrity or respect for the profession they chose to do. Thankfully all hope is not lost. It never is. Yah also has his people in position to reform the wrongs and make it right.
My notice of motion message to all young black people and young adults living at home is, try to understand why your family and parents are a little hard on you from time to time, even if they're hard on you all the time. This is one of the main reasons why. You are valued and loved by your family. Your parents see worth all over you. Sadly, George Stinney was snatched from his protective covenant and wrongfully convicted of killing two young white girls. The spirit of supremacy is very loyal to racial injustice. George life mattered just like Emmett Till, George Floyd, George Fuller, Elijah McClain, Breonna Taylor and countless other black folks. When black people say "Black Lives Matter "it simply means, they matter too! They have rights too! They are human beings too! They have a family who loves them too! Historically, there is confirmation of why it is stated and currently. If you are a mom or dad, I know you can empathize with how George parents must have felt, regardless of your lovely nationality, religion, or political party. Look at George Stinney face in the picture above. He is confused and scared for his life. The hatred and terror George experienced was embraced by the foundation of America (racism). His American black life didn't matter in a criminal justice system written by men who purposely could care less about a black boy. Also, they didn't give any attention to treating the people who they have always seen as property and had no disregard for their lives, no matter if it is 1944 or 2020.
In 2014 George Stinney name was cleared of the murder charges. Lord have mercy because they had none for George. Residents of Alcolu wanted to bring back the honor to George Stinney's name that was stolen. They vowed to place a tombstone in his honor for the injustice done to him. A man by the name of Jerome Dupree permitted a memorial tombstone in his front yard for George. The town of Alcolu has moved on from their racial tensions. The all-white jury that condemned George Stinney to his death all have to live what they have done if they are still living. The county and judicial system owes his family reparations for what they did. Period!
