I don't know who this man's parents are but I am thankful they got together and created him. Men like him are the main reason I stopped smoking and eating all of that pork. I digress. Just kidding, that was a joke. Every consonant and vowel he is declaring came straight from the pages of truth. Yes, it is very conducive for us to focus on the legislative branch. We've flipped the script once before and we will do it again. I'm lusting to see a brand new party because frankly, this young man is precisely correct. They don't care about us. The democrats and the republicans haven't done anything different for black people to be full-fledged American citizens in freedom. They see us being hunted and slaughtered like prey. Where is the legislation to stop it? They are not trying to rectify any of the social issues that abuse our lives. What about gun violence destruction or any thing to do with a black agenda? How do you profess liberty and justice for all black folks when decades later we are up against the same divisions equally distributed toward the mental breakdown of our resilience to exist. Yesterday was National Voter's Registration Day. There is still time for you to register today and become politically active. "They don't want to see us vote so we never do and we see the same thangs."
This controversial piece is kind of like my Twitter Tweets of The Week. I cruise around Twitter and talk about many random things trending but this time it will be with post from Instagram. Sometimes there is audio so please don't forget to click on the links in purple to listen in. I dedicate this controversy to the black liberation for black people and black agendas of freedom in all nations! Enjoy! I don't know who this man's parents are but I am thankful they got together and created him. Men like him are the main reason I stopped smoking and eating all of that pork. I digress. Yesterday was National Voter's Registration Day. There is still time for you to register today and become politically active. "They don't want to see us vote so we never do and we see the same thangs." Please elaborate on that statement. When was America Great for black people? As an American society we don't even want to acknowledge all the inhumane chapters of history poured wickedly in the bloodlines of black people or African Americans. We feel uncomfortable and don't want to talk about race or racism. Sometimes you just have to put it in their face. Was America great in 1619? Or maybe it was great during Jim Crow? Please be specific and let us know! Is it great right now like it was back then? Is it great for black women, black children or our black men? Is the residue and sprinkles of white supremacy in every state making America great? When was America great for black folks? Tick, tick, tick... um, I'll wait. America, America, may Yahweh shed his grace on thee. This story is not an unbelievable story. Female immigrants who thought they were going to the doctor for a specific medical procedure ended up with their uterus being taken out without their permissions. If you think there will be no consequences behind an illegal disregard for the lives of these women, you are wrong. Who were they transferring those organs to? Now, everyone involved in this familiar form of wickedness will try to pull out their best deck of cards to cover themselves away from deceit. The controversy of this piece makes me think of all the experiments they did on black enslaved women to learn about what worked and didn't work on a black woman's anatomy. Black slaves were used as guinea pigs with no rights, protection or reproductive organs when they were done experimenting on them. Praise the Lord for that whistle blower in this particular case. On my end, black men always win. I choose to hold on to the positive things they are doing, achieving, and mastering as they share their elevations and their unity with their communities. I am fully cognizant of the issues that purposely persist in our backyards. I also know how there are black men who are doing and trying to live their best lives. To the dominant society it is not good enough for them. They know we are dope. The preponderance of evidence is everywhere. When Eddie Murphy received his very first Emmy Award, I surmise they finally said he was good enough in their eyes to receive it. We celebrate him and all the years of his black boy joy he gave us. Regardless of how you personally feel about Murphy, you can't deny he put in the work for the award. Congratulations to Eddie Murphy! This is why we have to get organized and proactive in this political process. If there is any inch of validity to validate what the former employees have stated about this department, they certainly should not be allowed to perform the duties of a sheriff. It's a breach in the constitutional rights of the citizens that reside in that city. It also places a target on the backs of black people. You already know black folks are more likely to be pulled over and profiled by police officers. It is half pass the hour to vote these people out of office and control the policies in your community. If you live there it is your power to exercise. Your voice matters! Lori gets to serve her jail time at a prison of her choice. We are so shocked by this information, right (not). I wonder why no one else I've known or read about got that kind of favor. Can black kids go before black judges who know how to deal fairly with them and not always try them as adults? Can black people do crimes and get a slap on the wrist then go home or do community service? What about probation only? I guess favor, privilege, and skin color has a little bit to do with Lori's situation. Check out the grin of the lawyer in the background of this picture above with Lori. They both have that look of "sounds about white" smirk on their faces. Favor just ain't fair. Why can't black people get this same treatment across the board. That's all we want to know? During three entire minutes, this white man was not tased or shot. This man in the bright yellow shirt resisted arrest to the best of his ability. As you can see, nothing but restraint + self-control was allowed to have its way with him. If any King-Papas (blk men) I know and love are in a similar situation; I'm talking identical twins, why can't there be the same level of self-control and restraint shown to them? This should be written into legislation. There are plenty-many examples why we need new laws concerning this issue. We love our husbands, our partners, our uncles, our babies, and all of our melanated friends. Yes we pray hard for our black men, friends, family, and young boys. We have too! But we should not have to be subjected to the antithesis of treatment this white male was given. We demand the same. Ruth Bader Ginsburg's legacy is in the belly of longevity. She set the tone for women and girls to know they can think freely and independently, they can have a seat at the table full of men (white), with or without a skirt on, and they can serve on the highest court fearlessly. Thank you for over 25 years of service.
