Love is the unnamed nutrient and vitamin that shoots through our blood as it heals the soul; we all need it! It’s a prerequisite for life! It is also essential to take a stalwart approach to pray for our families, communities and leaders. I am not saying you (believers) are not praying. What I am stating is, as believers we (me too) should all be less lackadaisical; crying out to God even more to help us heal our neighborhoods and to kill wickedness around us. If there is anyone who can do it, we can. If the fragrance of Christ produces a yolk destroying aroma for believers to bring deliverance to other people lives, why is there so much corruption and violence in our streets and in our states? The light is the difference, right! We are that light. It is imperative to go above and beyond in our cries to God for others. No, we don’t live in a perfect world. The world will never be perfect! Granted, the earth belongs to God; it is the lords! When was the last time you cried out to God? Crying out to God moves God; it pleases God. I am not talking about clishmaclaver crying and complaining. I am talking about praying on your knees, crying out to God for a certain situation to change or for someone else in need. This kind of spiritual cry is usually diversified in praying, fasting and worshiping for the best results.
Deleterious spirits must cease and retreat when they try to come against hallowed territory. If there are believers who live on your block, please know it’s a good thing to have. Saints are everywhere! You don’t know who is praying for you. If you don’t seek God you won’t know the darkness that is against you. It is the prayer of the saints/believers that dominate the earth. There are things that probably did happen but because you have praying men and women surrounding you in love as your neighbors and in your family, the situation did not exacerbate. God had mercy. I can recall a friend who shared an incident her and her husband encountered with their new neighbors who moved into their community. They lived on a quiet street. The new residents on their block changed the setting with their unfavorable behavior. My friend told me her and her husband touched and agreed in prayer to remove them from the community and God did it! As believers who have spiritual power, you are welcome to exercise your authority daily. We have that same ability to remove or stop things as believers. I wonder what would happen if all the black churches got together in unity to allow the power of God to flow; fighting against all principalities and wickedness in their neighborhoods and communities? I’ll tell you what would happen. Men would be the head of their households. Violence and crime would decrease. It would die! There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD (Proverbs 21:30). None! No witchcraft, no demonic spirits, no disobedience, no drug demons, no dust of hopelessness; they don’t stand a chance. Please remember that!
As noted in Reboot Illinois,“Illinois corruption costs taxpayers about $500 million per year in damages, lost productivity, prosecution and it inflates the cost of all state contracts by about 5 percent.” The ignominy of public servants is an appetite no one can afford. I challenge all of us as believers and taxpayers to be proactive in our prayer life to remove those individuals who need to be smothered in God’s wisdom and chased by God’s understanding to know it is unacceptable for their behavior to continue as druthers. Leaders shadow integrity. They are the front-runners of accountability. They are a combination of peace and humble. Leaders mentor and they never stop learning. They are the boss of their own words so they manage their words circumspectly. I believe as the body of Christ, we should all be crying out against the kakistocracy and injustice in the world. The penetralia of prayers in your War Room will happen as you cry out to God. May you be blessed with an irenic spirit to cry out to God and he shall hear your cry. It will change! So shall you be filled with what you have sown into the universe. A blessing not curses.
