Vociferation of a frustrated child pinched my attention while I was taking a walk in my neighborhood. I was 2 yards away from her disturbing cry thinking someone was beating her. As I got closer to view the situation I saw a little girl who was about 3 years old with her loving mom and big brother; the mom and the brother were trying to teach her how to ride her bicycle. The brother was only a few years older than the little girl. He was trying his best to encourage her. She was screaming and crying expressing how she couldn’t ride her bike. She said she just couldn’t do it! The bike had the cutest little pink training wheels attached to it. She had her mother shielding her on one side and her brother on the other side of her. Although they were helping her; trying to motivate her and protecting her on her left and right side, she was not trying to hear anything they were saying. She kept her focus on shouting “I can’t do it…I want my daddy” when they tried to tell her she could. We sometimes do this when we are perturbed with life. Instead of focusing on God’s promises and trusting in him and his time completely, we act just like that little girl. God is our help and our shield! Trust God in all the concerns you have petitioned for. You don’t have to be apprehensive about your life when God controls the beginning, middle and ending of your TIME. In time, I am sure when that little girl calms down and notice all the support she had from her brother and her mother she will believe; she will be able to ride that bike.
YOU WILL HAVE YOUR TIME
You will have your time to get that higher score on a test and bring up your grades. You will have your time to get promoted and enter new chapters in your life. You will have your time to see the desires of your heart come to pass. Look at those family and friends around you; they had their time! I remember when no one knew who Jaime Fox or Kevin Hart was. When God said it was their time they became renowned. LeBron James opened up his own school when it was time! According to Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 (King James Version) there is a divine time authored by God for you to bleed in receiving all the things you were purposed to get while you are in the land of the living; every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. (Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8
