Ignhorma wore a raspberry beret. The kind you find in a second hand store; raspberry beret and all the insects and bugs loved her. She dressed in outlandish attire as her signature in order to stand out from all the other ants in her town. Ignhorma was often ignored for being a radical antress. Her family wanted to try and make her over, since they knew how much she adored bugs and insects but it didn’t work. Ignhorma was the only ant in the Antville underworld who was friends with flies, ladybugs and beetles.
Ignhorma's Argentine bloodline was very dominant. Argentine ants disliked cockroaches and termites; swimmingly eating and destroying other household pest when they encountered them. Ignhorma was friends with everyone and anyone who befriended her; all bugs and insects. Why can’t we be friends, why can’t we be friends, why can’t we be friends, why can’t we be friends, is all Ignhorma wanted to know from her family. They always told Ignhorma the others were different from them. “The color of their skin doesn’t matter to me. As long as we can live in harmony” was always Ignhorma's reply to her Argentine family. She was persecuted for being the antithesis of her Linepithema humile (Argentine) covenant. Her family changed her name from Norma to Ignhorma for her egalitarian ways; breaking their pledge of not doing business with Argentine ants only.
Ignhorma’s family and her other Argentine ant friends did not understand her fascination with a passel of bugs and insects she hung around. She was raised to only hang with her own kind. When Argentine ants turn 13 they are able to go looking for that good stuff or hunting for food without their parents or elders. Argentine teens hunt in groups with other teen ants as they go, looking for that good stuf,f or by themselves to get sweet crumb treats, then they bring their food back home to perform the process of trophallaxis kisses; feeding their family. As she grew into her teenage years Ignhorma ventured out to seek food from humans and was introduced to other kinds of bugs and insects who she admired along the way. Lester the hip hop fly once saved her life as she was gathering cookie crumbs from a human’s trash can. A black carpenter ant tried to take her life over the crumbs. The tweedle of Lester’s hip hop buzz distracted the ant as he buzzed in the black carpenter’s face. Lester tightened up his backstroke buzz to defend Ignhorma from the black carpenter. He was known for doing that. The black carpenter ant was trying to fight Ignhorma and she ran away with her food thanks to Lester. Lester and Ignhorma became close cronies after that. Lester the hip hop fly introduced Ignhorma to Meeka the ladybug and Lucy the beetle. They were inseparable as they grew into their young adulthood creating amazing memories together.
Tragedy came knocking on the door with a full class of self-destruction…headed for self-destruction when Lester the hip hop fly received some information from Pharaoh the red ant, about a huge party going on in a mansion. Pharaoh said there were so many types of breads and cakes on the grass. There was an abundance of food just waiting on them to come take it. Lester, Lucy and Meeka all decided to go help Ignhorma get some food as they all went, looking for that good stuff (they tightened up on their backstroke) to carry heavy pounds of food. They were able to get so much food to last the Argentine ants during the winter.
As they entered Argentine territory, one of the Argentine cousins saw them coming and told some of the other family members. They attacked Lester, Lucy and Meeka to their death. They killed all 3 of her best friends. Ignhorma just could not take it anymore. Her strength had walked out the door and it left her and told her she just could not go on anymore. She just wanted to lie down and die. She left Antville heading for a place of her own (why did it end that way). That wasn't how it was supposed to be. Ignhorma knew she was not going to Antarctica because no ants lived there. She had hatred in her heart for the Argentine ants. She divorced them. She decided to travel to Europe. She thought about how much she would miss them; sharing her food with her mom and dad while at the same time knowing the velleity of having her bloodline mixing with other bugs and insects; excepting others, was never going to happen.
Ignhorma was unprepared for the tourbillion that came her way while traveling to Europe. The moment was designed, for the Fly God to change Ignhorma’s mind to know anything can happen in here (in here…in here) and miracles can happen in here. Breakthroughs can happen in here. It was raining heavy purple rain…purple rain and she was exhausted. She found a dirt tunnel to hide in and rest as she looked for food to eat. When she woke up the sun was shining and Telton the butterfly was standing over her in the air smiling. She could not believe it! Out of all the bugs and insects her family detested, butterflies were number one on the list. She was disconcerted and he told her not to fear him. Telton told her he was sent but the Fly God on a mission to heal lost bugs and insects. She inquired more about the Fly God. Ignhorma said in her town they had a few ant witches who did medical treatment on ants when they were injured but was unfamiliar with the term Fly God. Telton told her the Fly God is love; a powerful loving spirit who will not let her down. Telton said he knows the Fly God is love, forever down in his heart. Telton told Ignhorma the Fly God helps all living creatures walk through temptation because his love and his wisdom will be their helping hand.
The Fly God watched over all the living creatures and gave them salvation to go out into the world to spread the Fly message of peace and love for all bugs and insects. The Fly God surely had a blessing with Ignhorma’s name on it! It made not difference what Ignhorma was going through. The Fly God knew there was a blessing with Ignhorma's name on it. Ignhorma told Telton about losing her friends to her Argentine covenant; how they murdered her friends. She was crying so loud it woke up worms, other ants and an influx of insects and bugs that were nearby. Telton began to console Ignhorma and invited her to the Fly Temple to listen to him minister to the insects and bugs. Ignhorma agreed to come. She accepted the Fly God as her God towards the end of Telton's message.
There was a miracle in that place with Ignhorma’s name on it as she became a disciple of the Fly God, so she had to put a praise on it. Ignhorma was on a mission to go out into the highways and the byways and minister to other insects and bugs of all kinds to show them love, healing and redemption. Over time she did forgive her Argentine bloodline as she remained high in the presence of the Fly God. Ignhorma always thought about her 3 bug friends as she song early in the morning in remembrance of them. "As around the sun, the earth I see is revolving; and the rosebuds known to bloom in early May 'Cos this hate knows love's the cure. You can rest your mind, assured that I'll be loving you (Lester, Lucy & Meeka) always."
