Psalms 150:6
Divulgating praises to the Lord used to be foreign to me. I remember when my best friend gave her life to Christ she would always say “Praise the Lord” all the time. I always thought it was a positive thing to say. I surmise I was not connected to God the way she was. By that I mean, my relationship was not developed intimately as it is now. I just wasn’t there yet! You do know that walking with God is a process, in light of us all having a personal relationship with God. Psalms 150 is the last book of Psalms. As this year begins and comes to an end, please remember God wants us as believers to praise him freely, openly and with sincerity. If you and your family have breath, yes I am talking to you! Today, I thank and praise God for everything! If I hear good news, a good testimony, or good health report I am thankful and the words PRAISE THE LORD will shoot out of my mouth. Even when times are not so good, we are encouraged to praise God for his goodness! It could be worse. I went to the grocery store a few years ago to purchase some poultry. The price was cheaper than usual and wasn’t on sale. When I asked if the price was correct the man who was taking my order said no. He said that the price was incorrect but since it was advertised with that amount, they would honor it. Yes, (you know it) I was like PRAISE THE LORD!
