There are folks of all racial backgrounds and ethnicities who serve every day in the blueprint of Dr. King's legacy. There are also those who do not. During this time in our history, if you are one of those individuals who always articulate that there is no such thing as white privilege, the recent mob attack on Capitol Hill is all the evidence you need to know, it is real. Consequently, nothing happened to those Americans who felt their rights were violated or their freedoms were not being honored. Regardless of how fabricated their truth, they believed that the election was stolen from them. There are photographs to prove how serious they were about their cause. Dr. King was passionate about his cause as well. They killed him for it.
When you really start to wake up and begin to see, seek and know, there is no way to go backwards. Dr. Martin Luther King is absent physically but his spirit and presence is rising up daily. I know it looks like we are in the same chapters. These chapters will have your voice, your narrative, and your influence infused in it.
