Hocus Pocus! It is time to focus on Hallelujah Night! As believers of love and light we do not celebrate Halloween the traditional way. Our substitution is called Hallelujah Night. We engage in fun activities with our family and friends at home or at our local worship services. In light of all the wickedness going on in the world right about now, we all could use more positive energy! You are just ripe for a Hallelujah Night, no timorous frights! I decided to celebrate this day with music that will keep you strong and lyrics brave enough to drive wickedness away. Gospel music is serene, inspirational, and it is always safe to listen to around children. There are a lot of gospel artist who use biblical verses in their songs. Let’s explore some of them on Hallelujah Night. Praise the Most High God! Be safe out there!

Kim McFarland is my favorite gospel artist. I have to start with Kim first. The song is “My Peace” and I love singing it. This particular song has a bible verse that came straight from the book of John. It’s the 14 chapter and verse 27. I will highlight the noteworthy spirit of Kim’s lyrics in her song. If you listen to any of her music you will receive peace. Kim McFarland is anointed by God to sing. God wants to give you peace today. Let not your heart be troubled! Try your best not to worry. I understand it is not always easy but you can do it. God did it before and he is going to do it again for you! Listen to this song a few more times if you have to. Incidentally, Kim profusely ministers to you as she uses her gift (voice) to bless your life. May your days be saturated in peace. We all need some peace.

Fred Hammond always gives us every second, minute and hour to empower us spiritually. “No Weapon” formed against us as believers will prosper. Sorry, it will not work! Nice try though! Words are powerful. As believers we understand the power of our words. We are up against the pinnacle of wickedness during these turbulent times. The spirit of Fred Hammond’s gospel lyrics is found in the book of Isaiah. It is chapter 54, verse 17. It pushes the believer to fight for what God told us we could have, and that is the VICTORY! It may try to form. God will not let it prosper. Your arms are too short to box with God. Plus, God’s angels are everywhere. We speak life to situations and circumstances. Psalms 91 is a very good prayer to say daily as you dwell in the secret place of the Most High. Share this prayer with your friends and family. The unconditional love coupled with mercy and grace, plus forgiveness, is the evidence of God’s greatness. Even before you thought about it, God already fixed it for you! Do you remember that?
