When the panic-attack from the coronavirus hit, it hit us hard! I could not get water for almost 2 weeks. It was severely ridiculous. I so get it! Most people thought the world was ending and they wanted to have at least some water with their last super. Now the nerves have calmed down a little bit. The lines are still long but at least you can get toilet paper and water now. Most stores are limiting consumers from taking bulks and bulks of items. I wish they would have done that before but I so get it. This is new for all of us. We are all trying to work through it and figure it out daily.
One thing you can do is join the movement of people who are trying their best to stay upbeat and positive amidst the coronavirus. Individuals all over the world are singing it out, dancing it out, and having virtual hangout parties to support, uplift and encourage each other. Laughter always helps. Ladies, you can even flirt with some of my men, I don't mine. Church services are being held online so you can still get your dosage of the gospel. Don't be shy, engage yourself in some of these virtual behaviors.
Drinking warm or hot liquids are good to help fight viruses. So please indulge in drinking tea, hot chocolate, coffee, and soups. Avoid cold beverages. Drink warm water. Hydrate your body with lots of water. You have a right to fight back. Get some eucalyptus essential oil to remove congestion and keep your airways clear. Steam is a good friend during these times so steam your body and your face. Double up on your vitamin C. The coronavirus is an attack on your immune and respiratory system. Shield yourself in plenty of healthy eating and rest. Be well Sancti-Fly Mamas and Sancti-Fly Papas.
What is it that you get? Do you allow understanding to slip by you with no evidence of empathy and sympathy attached to your humanity? Are you a person who is always so quick to judge, drowning in stereotypes with all of your lovely might? As my Lula (grandmother) used to say, keep on living, you'll get it. I pray that you will!
