STUDENT NONVIOLENT COORDINATING COMMITTEE If you were black or a Negro during the civil rights movement of the 1960s, certain folks wanted you to take a step back. I am so glad Stokely Carmichael, James Forman, Bob Moses, Marion Barry and of course John Lewis did not take a step back. They started the fire! The SNCC had a prolific impact on the civil rights movement and their organizing strategies historically impacted black life. The Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee changed voter suppression and political enrollment in the black community as it should have. White folks would have never allowed an all black group of politicians to be over a predominantly white neighborhood where they are the majority. Why would they anticipate that for blacks. Well, they did back then and some still have the nerve to think this is okay. It's not! SNCC was a nonviolent extension of Dr. King's philosophy and of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC). Their message was more uncompromising and pervasive with black power. So many children can’t even image not being allowed to sit in a McDonald's restaurant or have the desire to go to their favorite eatery but prohibited from going in light of their skin color. SNCC formed sit-ins to help combat the problem. Three young soldiers who played a critical part in the SNCC and the Freedom Riders movement were killed for trying to change history. This is why you are explicitly encouraged to share black history with your kids. If you don't who will? Folks (blacks and whites) died so that you and your kids would be able to sit down wherever you wanted to go, freely. Freedom wasn't given it was won! It was the number one objective. If one group of individuals can sit down and go to any public place but others cannot, I believe that is not freedom. That is a form of slavery! We are presently fighting for some of the same freedoms in 2019. An insurrection of radicalism was fearlessly formed and the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee was born! Young folks (students) demanded their say in the political arena. They wanted their own representation and telling them no was NOT an option. The Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee is worthy of the marks they left in history. They organized and continued to organize until doors were opened for their civil rights. Before Black Lives Matter began to organize and tell us that a black person's life does matter politically, economically and socially with racial injustice boiling over in their message, there was a passel of another group of brave Sancti-Fly Papas and Mamas known as SNCC. The Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee took a stand for their liberty and for their justice that was bequeathed to them by those who wrote the laws mandated by the United States of America. It did state that the laws of the land were for all American citizens. When you pay your taxes and understand your rights as an American citizen, you have a right to fight for the humanity and civil rights of others and for yourself. These two movements have boldly demonstrated that. You don't have to agree with it. We know some won't understand the vision or the purpose of others. You have to keep pushing forward regardless of who doesn't understand it or like it! Where would we be if Ali or Dr. King focused on the agenda of others and not the black agenda? What side of history do you want to be remembered for?

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is absolutely one of my favorite men in the world! He is the apotheosis of a Sancti-Fly Papa Star who embodied the moral character of an American black man even when America did not. When I look back over my life I am explicitly appreciative of all the roadblocks he helped to expose for the betterment of myself and other folks who were born as God’s child. You really have no choice being born in the skin color you are born with. It appears to me we are in a strange land when we are continuously fighting for the exact same things in 2019 that Dr. King labored for during the love and light he shared while living. Lord knows Dr. King was instrumental in making enormous progress for civil rights, human rights, and that good old fashion equality we still thirst for. Collectively, we have all benefited from his righteousness that exalted the United States of America and other nations. His dream lives on! Please be boldly encouraged and less passive when it comes to anything that is unjust which directly or indirectly affects you, your family, and your community. You have every right to get involved in public policy. So many women have ran for office and won during this era. You can do it too! Just because laws are enacted does not mean it is just. History already showed us that truth! One of the very passions we adore about Dr. King is how he loved and served others. He was not a perfect man. No one is. You can't deny he gave his life functioning as a champion for others. He has shown and produced one of the greatest strengths that a lot of folks fall short of on a daily basis. What is in your heart, mind, and thoughts? Love was on his mind at all times! "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." How true is this statement during these times? Some of us profess to be followers of Christ but will not SPEAK UP on any social, economic or political issues when you know it is wrong. You turn your head away from inhumanity, injustice, and racism when you could use your voice and privilege to make things right. That little black boy from Atlanta didn't. Dr. King looked those spirits in the face and gave them all some righteousness. He was bold as a lion. This is the gospel truth! Dr. King knew he could not sit around and wait for the oppressor to give him what was legally his as an American citizen, who just happen to be born a black man. He demanded it! We are living in such dark times right now! Dr. King lived through some of those dark times. He didn't hate no one. He may have had every right to do so but he did not! He had a power that some were baffled about and others personified that same power. Hate cannot drive out hate. You need love to do that! This is exactly what Dr. King did successfully. The time is always right to do what is right, not what is easy. Dr. King had superlative character. We can all learn something from Dr. King. Dr. King certainly was not shy about calling out or speaking against white supremacy. I believe folks love to be safe with certain words and speeches concerning Dr. King but they know he was radical in his nonviolent movement. This is power! Dr. King refused to hate those who were doing all the oppression and overt wickedness to him and those souls he was fighting for. There is not a lot of us who can exercise this kind of tolerance. What are you doing for others? Do you think your life is only about you? I can answer that, no. It is not. Dr. King was a man every child can look up to. When black folks were told they were not human beings but only 3/5 of a person this residual law leaked down through history and they were not seen as beautiful, worthy, human or God's child. I don't understand how those who have been held to the highest form of beauty, worthiness, and humanness all of their lives, can ever feel some kind of way about black people lifting up themselves and their culture. You will make your life more purposeful and that void you have in your heart will be satisfied by a refined quality as you help fight for the rights of equality in every aspect, on every street and in every nation. Dr. King was born to fight for others. Exactly, keep on moving. Keep on loving. Keep on being positive! Keep on building! Keep on supporting! Keep on dreaming! Kudos to Ms. Sarah Lee and the Southeast Asian communities. Keep on fighting! We are watching! We are listening! We are certainly learning. God bless the man who lived life on purpose and in his purpose so that all folks (especially black folks) would have an opportunity to the pie of purpose! Yes, Dr. King got to the ROOT of the problem. Yes, he made folks feel uncomfortable and think twice about their decisions. I am so glad he did what he did. Wow! "A blood pressure of creeds and an anemia of deeds on the question of justice." Let that sink in! Check out this tweet from a man that calls himself LEFT. I surmise this is the part of Dr. King we really do not know that much about. This is the radical King people do not know about. I encourage you to purchase a collection of his speeches.
COLORED NEGROS
COLORED NEGROS REIFIED IN AFRICAN AMERICAN OR BLACK PRIDE, INFUSED WITH ARCHITECTURAL SACRED RIGHTS OF LIBERTY AND LIFE; BUILDING A FIREWALL COALITION AGAINST THE BONDAGE OF WHITE ENTRENCHMENT. THE COLORED CONVENTION OF 1869 GENERATED CIVIL RIGHT STRATEGIES; SWIMMINGLY TACKLING POLITICAL TRIBULATIONS TO REINFORCE THE NEGRO WEALTH AND RESOURCES TO CREATE GREATER FOUNDATIONS, RICH IN BLACK CODES ABUSED BY THE WHITE CONFEDERATION (KKK) UNANIMITY, SETTING A PRECEDENCE OF KERFLOOEY…NO MORE STRENGTH STORED UP IN IGNORANCE, KEEPING A SLAVE SYSTEM INFLAMED AND UNASHAMED. THE FABRIC OF THE NEGRO LIFE EFFICACIOUSLY MADE THE COLORED COMMUNITY A LIFESTYLE OF UNITY. THERE WAS A FLOW OF MORE CHILDREN REVERING THEIR ELDERS AND PARENTS; PRESENTEEISM OF MARRIAGES THAT LASTED. HUSBANDS HAD AN INFLAMMATORY THIRST, TO LOVE THEIR WIVES LIKE CHRIST LOVED THE CHURCH. WOMEN WERE INTERESTED IN BEING SUBMISSIVE; PRAYING, BUILDING UP THEIR HOUSE. LEADERSHIP WAS A DISSERTATION OF PROFITABLE LOVE, PEACE AND GRACE FOR THE NEGRO RACE. COLORED FOLKS BACK THEN WAS THE PARENT AND NOT THEIR CHILD’S FRIEND. IT APPEARS TO BE A VIRUS LEAKING IN THE AFRICAN AMERICAN’S HEART BEING FAR FROM GOD. ON EVERY HAND TROUBLE IS IN THE LAND; KIDS HAVE A FIRST CLASS TICKET TO KILLINGS. COLORED FOLKS MADE SURE THEIR KIDS DREW CLOSE TO GOD. THE AFRICAN AMERICANS IMITATE THE WORLD IN THE CHURCH. THE NEGRO FOLKS DESTROYED YOLKS IN THEIR CHURCH; LIVING AND MOVING IN GOD WITH ALL NIGHT PRAYER. THE AFRICAN AMERICANS DOG EACH OTHER OUT WITH NASTY GRAMS; SOWING SEEDS OF DISCORD INSTEAD OF JOINING FORCES LIKE THE NEGROS DID BACK WHEN WE WERE COLORED AND STUCK TOGETHER. LET US BE DISSATISFIED WITH CAREER POLITICIANS IN BLACKFACE MINSTRELS WHO RUNAWAY WITH THE UGLY BLISS OF FRAUDULENCE, LIKE THEY DID IN... AND ARE STILL DOING IN FLINT. THE MATTER OF THE FACT IS AS AFRICAN AMERICANS, COLOREDS OR BLACKS; WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD BUT AGAINST WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES. MAY THE SLOGAN OF LOVE MARINADE IN YOUR THINKING TO BE, DO AND LIVE RIGHTEOUSLY TOGETHER; COLORED, NEGRO AND AMERICANS! I interrupt your regularly scheduled programs to bring you episodes of Twitter Tweets of The Week featuring Black History. It is crucial to understand how imperative it is to know your heritage and mirror the attractancy of strength passed down from your ancestors; all those human beings who made it possible for you to be the person you are today. Sancti-Fly History is in the air! The magic isn’t going anywhere. Mr. Young @Mr_YoungCRW #BlackHistoryMonth2019 Marcus Garvey was a major figure in American history during the first half of the 20th century. Garvey, a Black Nationalist, was the leader of the Pan-Africanism movement. He would argue for African-Americans to leave America and move back to Africa This first tweet comes from Mr. Young. I concur with Mr. Young. As I stated previously you have to know your past in order to prepare you for your future. If you researched your bloodline and found out people in your family were all gifted in science and math, it certainly would give you a deeper understanding of why you're so interested in those subjects. You were born with it! It's in you to do it. It's part of your purpose and destiny. Nyasia @NyAfricaFoster If my post Offends you then retweet it. The more you retweet the more the word gets spread. #BlackHistoryMonth2019 Nyasia has an interesting tweet in my opinion. Most of the time when folks on social media view something they like or dislike, they will share it with their friends or even their enemies. Nyasia boldly wants you to share her tweet so awareness is spread. Even if you misconstrue her message, slavery is NOT the only version of Black History. Black History is everyday. There is so much more to Black History than slavery. Teach yourself and your children about the many vicissitudes of Black History. Libby Warner @LibbyWarner100 In a moment of Black History. Bathsheba was indeed an African WOMAN #BlackHistoryMonth2019 #BlackHistoryMonth Libby Warner is unapologetically a black woman who knows how important it is to tell the truth about representation in the bible. We have to discontinue whitewashing or covering up the truth when it comes to black history. Dr. LaTonya L. Harris @1Learner4Life Whitney Young, Jr. - National Urban League and NAACP executive: Whitney Young, Jr. was one of most respected and influential civil rights leaders in the United States during the 1960s. https://aaregistry.org/story/whitney-young-jr-national-urban-league-and-naacp-executive/ … #BlackHistoryMonth2019 Whitney Young is certainly someone you should know especially if you lived through the civil rights era! If you do not know about him maybe he is someone you can explore. Thanks Dr. Latonya L. Harris for sharing. Redeemer Community Partnership @RedeemerCP Today we highlight: Robert Doyle Bullard known as the 'Father of Environmental Justice'. He is a leading scholar and campaigner for the EJ Movement in the US. "America is still segregated and so is pollution." - https://is.gd/YqeGNX #BlackHistoryMonth2019 #BlackHistoryMonth Unfortunately the Redeemer Community Partnership is correct. What is being done about all of this? I thought segregation died years ago. Why is certain harmful substances and chemicals allowed in certain areas and some are not? Killah Katt @killah_katt Any shade of black is beautiful! #BlackHistoryMonth2019 #blackhistorymonthdoor Kudos to Killah Katt for sharing this decorated door for Black History Month. I love what she said! "ANY SHADE OF BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL!" Please remember that! Colorism is an issue blacks and whites need to be delivered from. For years (and now) skin color has kept many individuals separated. You never know all the goodness you could be missing out on, in light of you feeling some kind of way about a person's skin color. We are all beautiful. If you have darker skin black children or lighter skin black children, let them know they ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL! ACLUVerified account @ACLU Thinking about a feminist and anti-racist future. #BlackHistoryMonth2019 Thanks to the ACLU for the knowledge of Kimberle Crenshaw. I wasn't familiar with who she was. Kimberle Crenshaw is a Professor of Law at Columbia Law School and a civil rights advocate. She specializes in race relations. If she is doing it, you can use your magic and spread it everywhere as well. WillametteNatlForestVerified account Today we celebrate the contributions of African Americans in the Civilian Conservation Corps. From 1933 until 1942, over 30,000 men worked on National Forests completing projects to create recreation areas, build trails, and fight fire. #BlackHistoryMonth2019 What is the deal, what's going on? Why are all these strong African American men in this particular picture? There are hard working black men who need this kind of exposure. Thank you guys for your service. Thank you for sharing this WillametteNatlForest. FunkyBrother @brother_funky Here's a Black newspaper from way back in February 1778! #BlackHistoryMonth2019 #BlackHistoryMonth BLACKS WIN GLORY! BLACK POET ARRIVES IN HARFORD! FRENCH-AMERICAN TREATY IS SIGNED. Check out this piece of Black History during 1778. Now, that's Black History! Wow! Thank you so much FunkyBrother for sharing this! This is NOT ancient history. #BlackHistoryMonth #BlackHistoryMonth2019 Right Tonya, Ruby is 64 years old. This was a few decades ago. I watched the documentary about her life. She was a brave little girl. She is a black girl who rocked in her determination. Thanks so much for sharing this Tonya! Another year is finally here! Happy birthday to you! What are your plans on your special day? Who are you going to celebrate it with? These are all the things we tend to think about when we have a birthday coming up, if we are into the fun times of celebrating it. If you have been on board with SFM, you already know how fond the Sancti-Fly Mama is of birthday celebrations. I engage in honoring the lives of my family and friends who ROCK stronger than the wind by writing birthday prayers each month. Lanisha Blockmon is scarturient in black excellence! She is infused with a tall glass of selflessness. Lanisha is inundated in magical melanin that rocks in determination. She is at best, simply remarkable! No one can dare come against her inspirational warfare! She is flaming hot in positive thoughts. This year for her birthday, Lanisha wanted to give back to her community in the best way by feeding close to 400 people. Yes, you heard right! On her birthday Lanisha Blockmon decided she wanted to feed others on her born day. It was cold in January but that did not stop her. I know exactly what you're thinking as you are reading this. You’re saying “this is such a spicy dose of awesome sauce.” I concur. How many folks do you know, who thinks of others on their birthdays? It wasn’t all about Lanisha Blockmon on her day. It was about bringing some of her love and light to others who she felt needed it the most. Lanisha planned months in advance to reach out to her family, friends, and community leaders who could assist her into bringing her vision to past. I was very appreciative to be one of her volunteers. Her goal was to do it during her birthday weekend. It took her 3 days to complete her mission. This is Lanisha on a Friday (her actual birthday) night getting the packaging together for her first drop-off. Her seeds of love bags consisted of sandwiches, chips, water, an inspirational quote, mints and condiments. On this day she made about 120 bags for the New Pisgah Veteran Homes located on the south side of Chicago. This is Lanisha at one of the facilities talking to some of the seniors about why she wanted to feed individuals on her birthday. It was a very commendable thing to do and they all loved it! She is fluid in her movement to encourage, support, and give a little bit of herself to others. This makes us all want to do more and be better human beings. It makes us feel good! Lanisha is a stunning Power Pretty Mama in all of God’s glory! I am blessed to share her story with you. Her generous spirit has not only made the difference but she lives it daily with her family, as an entrepreneur, and as an active influencer of her community. This was on another day (Saturday) as she passed out food when she fed about 150 folks at Veterans New Beginnings. This was on the Sunday of her birthday weekend (last day). She and her team was preparing more bags for her next route. She visited the Harvest Commons Senior Homes and blessed 130 people with her love seed bags. When I told others about what Lanisha was aspiring to do on her birthday weekend, I received lots of donations to help the cause. Lanisha used some of her own resources as well. She also received donations. Always remember there are angels everywhere waiting to assist you in your goals and dreams. Some people are specifically assigned to you for your destiny.
Her big beautiful eyes don't lie! Lanisha Blockmon can't stop and she will not stop rising to the top. Whatever she deems imperative to do and have for the betterment of others and her community, I don't see her slowing down. Lanisha Power is definitely Pretty! Let Integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I will wait for you. (Psalm 25:21)
Expressive rain drops of joy wets our hearts when we are blessed with good days. It is such a blessing to wake up in the morning and see the people we love. What about receiving good news…so nice, right! Some of us get a natural high out of helping others. I know you are acquainted with family and friends who make it their business to support others; they go out of their way doing charity work. Hard work pays off when our goals are achieved. We feel less stressed and relieved when our needs are met financially. There are folks who have so much money; they give some of it away. They don't worry about their bills. They can purchase their needs and wants effortlessly. Their lifestyle is reflective of healthy and unhealthy choices. Men and women are able to provide with pride for their families with ample currency. Individuals create successful foundations and legacies with money. Money has played a dominate role in every episode of our lives. If you move out on your own or move in with your spouse to buy property, money will be involved. In order to purchase an automobile or appliances, you have to have some form of credit or money. We work in our careers or our own businesses to have money. We try our best to cling to honesty; paying our taxes to avoid penalization from our government. We anticipate receiving income tax money from our taxes. We buy and shop daily with this thing called money! There are some people who believe all their problems will be solved by having plenty-many amounts of money. I have heard some preachers encouraging their members to seek God for millionaire status. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a full-size plan to create dreams and thinking big! I caution you to consider being prepared for what you’ve asked for; what you are working so diligently at. Everyone is not strong enough for millionaire status. There are some of us in this society who can’t even handle the salaries we have right now. Are you asking God to preserve you for his will? If you are wealthy are you seeking God to keep you humble, honest and in a righteous mind? When you do, it will benefit your life. Only what you do in God’s will is going to last. Pay attention to those around you; to the history of others. Acquiring wealth has its own monopoly of problems. You will definitely have to watch the company you keep. There are some of you who are reading this right now, who know you are not supposed to be hanging around the people you are with. If you were honest with yourself, you know God has told you more than once to stop hanging around him/her or them. It is for a reason. It is probably for your own good. If it is your goal to be famous and wealthy, you will have to give up a lot of your privacy. Are you ready for that? How many of you reading this would sell pictures or personal information of a family member if they were famous, to the tabloids or the paparazzi? If they offered you thousands of dollars would you accept their offer? As believers I would hope the answer is no! I encourage you to pray for honesty and uprightness to preserve yourself if you are struggling in the area of integrity. The book of Psalm 25:21 is a personal prayer between you and God to preserve truth and honor in you; fighting against a faustian spirit. Having wealth or money is not always attributed with good moral character or a beautiful spirit. This prayer can be applied to every part of your life. As believers, we can use this prayer in our households as we raise our children; in our marriages and in our everyday living. If you work around an area that is dishonest or overpopulated with injustice, as believers, it is your responsibility to balance deceitfulness with the truth. You are the salt of the earth! When you spend time in the word of God, he is speaking to you. When God speaks, it is always to help us be more obedient to his word; to increase our faith and to trust him. There should be a difference between how we live our lives than how those in the world live their lives. May this prayer (Psalm 25:21) help to remind us of the uprightness, integrity and mansuetude that should be magnified in our lives. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Mathews 5:14 NKJV) Welcome to some cool learning information worth mentioning and oversharing. It has been a minute since I've cruised around Twitter at times to shine a light on some random tweets I think are really significant or funny.
Acho Today is a good day to start! This first "FridayFeeling" tweet comes from Acho. It is a very important message from a quote. It is time for us to band together and seek out more mental awareness resources. May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Practice self- love just a little bit more and encourage your family and friends to do the same. There are so many issues going on in our world. Bullying is at a height. Suicide is on the rise. There are a variety of mental health issues not being addressed as it should be. Take care of yourself. Reach out to the unity awaiting to assist you. Today is a good time to start taking care of no one else but you! Tom Hall ☘ I can't Fly 65! We should all do this one day! You will feel some kind of way if you tried this. You certainly would have the best "FridayFeeling" ever. Well, if you like adventure and roller coasters this will be right up your alley. The Columbia Bugle President Trump on Prime Minister of Hungary Victor Orbán: “You're respected all over Europe. Probably like me a little bit controversial, but that's okay. You've done a good job and you've kept your country safe." This third tweet comes from The Columbia Bungle. Apparently President Trump had a meeting with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary. Trump made a statement about Prime Minister Orban being of great character and being a great leader. Other folks did not agree with his sentiments. Mehdi Hasan He’s tweeting about antisemitism on the day he’s hosting Viktor Orbán in the Oval Office. You can’t make this stuff up. Mehdi Hasan certainly did not like the fact President Trump had a meeting with Prime Minister Orbán. I surmise to some he is associated with a negative force of oligarchy and to others Orbán is viewed as a positive light. SenatorDurbin Today, the House made history and passed the bipartisan #EqualityAct. This is a common sense bill that would protect LGBTQ Americans from discrimination. Leader McConnell should stop making the Senate a legislative graveyard and bring this important bill to the floor right away. Politicians like Senator Durbin, Pelosi and Cummings, are all on board with this new Equality Act that was passed today (5/17/19). Republicans and Democrats worked together (say what) to get the job done! The Equality bill protects those men and women in the LGBTO community from being discriminated from. I hope and pray for policies to be passed on issues affecting mental health, criminal justice, and consumer protection. Tariq Nasheed #EqualityAct piggy-backed off the Civil Rights act that Foundational Black Americans fought for. Now it is completely legal for white ppl to execute Black people for any reason with impunity. And there is no national opposition to this anti-Black policy. Yet Ed Buck is protected. There is always a different perspective with Tariq. It is always good to be open to all. I wanted to know who the heck Ed Buck was. He is most definitely someone you should know about. Why do you think Ed Buck was protected or was he? Two men were found dead in his home. Very interesting. I think the black woman basically got it right in the video clip. Elizabeth Warren But Betsy DeVos is just a symptom of a badly broken system. We’re up against powerful forces, and to win, we need big structural change. So here’s my plan: Under a Warren administration, the Secretary of Education will be a public school teacher. This next tweet talks about making the Secretary of Education a public school teacher. Well, if Elizabeth Warren has her way into the presidency, she vows to hold that position for a public school teacher. How do you feel about that? Ayanna Pressley Those who try to divide us, distract us, vilify women of color and manipulate our words should kindly take a seat. A predictable play and no one’s falling for it. We’ve got you @RashidaTlaib I am all for unity. There should be more love and brotherhood in our world. I hope Rashida is there for solidarity with whatever Congresswoman Ayanna Pressely needs her to be. Tariq Nasheed A 13 year old Black child from Albion Mich. with mental health issues, was punched, pepper sprayed, & beaten by race soldiers in the back of a police car while handcuffed. The child even acknowledged that it wasn’t fair that he was being racially abused. This tweet is not American. I do not like watching these videos but this kind of madness needs to be exposed. Tariq Nasheed calls these kind of police officers race soldiers because as the little boy was treated horribly, he felt it was because of his race. It is alleged that the officers knew him. They called him by name and they were aware of his mental illness. Why are certain people treated differently. I have witnessed similar stories of mentally ill white folks who were handled very different. This needs to die. Incidentally, those officers were fired. We all know there are good officers out here. In honor of police week, I want to thank all the Police Officers. Also, if you know your partner is doing something like this, why do you continue to allow it? Why would you be quiet about something like this. Seriously, was this necessary to do this to that little boy? This is my question to police officers. This is wrong. What if it was your child? Julian Castro The recently released video Sandra Bland took of her own arrest provides the latest example of a police justification for the death of an unarmed black person being revealed as a flat out lie. This tweet is about something most people (especially black folks) already knew about. Sandra Bland extended video doing her encounter with the police in Texas. She was murdered. She did not kill herself! STOP BALLOT HARVESTING! Su Hyon Dillon, 44, was arrested and charged with four counts of first-degree child rape last Wednesday in Puyallup, Washington. She repeatedly raping 11-year-old boy who played on her son's lacrosse team and was coached by her husband. Stop Ballot Harvesting tweets about a 44 year old woman charged with child rape. As parents and guardians you must watch out for your kids. Protect them and pray over them. What is going on? Oh my goodness! Bishop Talbert Swan Councilman Jim Cleveland defended Hosxhton, GA Mayor Theresa Kenerly rejecting a job applicant “because he is Black, and the city isn’t ready for this.” “I understood where she was coming from..Blacks and whites together, it makes my blood boil...” This particular tweet was tweeted from Bishop Talbert Swan. It is about a story that turned into another story. Unfortunately this is still going on. The mayor of Georgia (Theresa Kenerly) didn't want to hire a black person who applied for a position because she claimed the city was not ready for a black person. The town is predominately white. Even when there are towns that are predominately black, white folks control city government. Why is that? Maybe they can't find any qualified black folks, right? Wait, but check out how most of these kind of places (private and public) state they have a code that protects against racial discrimination. I surmise it just looks good on paper because some obviously have that great American dose of amnesia. A councilman by the name of Jim Cleveland came to the mayor's defense. He even added that as a Christian man, it was wrong for black folks and white folks to marry. Yes times have changed but only God can legislate a person's heart. UEFA Champions If you've got that #FridayFeeling! This last tweet is so refreshing and positive. I will end these Twitter Tweets with a few good brothers dancing together. You know it's Friday when you can get together with like minded folks and have a relaxing time. They look so cool, right? :0) Hello family, friends, colleagues, and guests,

Yours In Health, Dr. Rosalind A. Ogunsola D.C., MPA Satisfy your talents and your gifts by fulfilling the purpose in your legacy. Dr. King, Malcom X, Dr. Shirley Jackson, Shonda Rhimes, Ali, Nelson Mandela and Maya Angelou were all wrapped up in the inoperable, yet unstoppable legacies. Nothing stopped them! You are no different. No one can stop what God wants you to rock during Black History Month or any month. If God said to rock the truth, tell the truth. If God gave you wisdom and knowledge to lead others out of bondage, rock it! If God gave you gifts and talents to use for his glory, rock your story. Negative hints may try to hit from time to time. Please know that you can kill it with some of your positive bliss because nothing can stop or block what God told you to rock! DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING Dr. Martin Luther King was the glorification of manna; leading black folks in a nonviolent movement towards a more perfect union of freedom. He rocked civil rights and human rights with all of his Sancti-fly might! Granted, there were obstacles of wicked vines growing in the land, trying to stop Dr. King. He went to jail, he was attacked by dogs, and he was abused by the police. All Dr. King wanted was some "peace" of the pie to be allocated to the brothers and sisters on his side. Martin Luther King endured the hope of promise. He had a dream and humanized it very well. Dr. King was impregnated with purpose and completed his assignments. Dr. King embodied love and faith in a way that made men of all backgrounds and of all races engaged in what he had to say. He is the culmination of culture and Sancti-Fly History. MALCOLM X To articulate that Malcolm X was a great leader is certainly an understatement. The fearlessness Malcolm X rocked is an indelible mark in the hearts of many black and white Americans who studied his full life. Malcolm X was an epic soldier. Even if you do not believe as he did, you have to respect the fight and power he personified as an organizer of freedom and justice for black people. Poignantly speaking, brother Malcolm is the prime example why we as a society cannot give up on our young people (pull your pants up young men). Take a little time to get to know the vicissitudes of his life before and after he became a Muslim. Malcolm X has an abundance of Sancti-Fly History. MUHAMMAD ALI (THE GREATEST) Muhammad Ali really did float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. No matter how much money he earned, he cared about the plight of his community. Nothing or no one could stop or block him for caring the way he did! He soared in love for the black community; speaking out against oppression. Ali rocked courage so free! He did not care what you thought about him. He was a champion that exemplified conviction! Ali made people think! He made folks listen! He is black history! NELSON MANDELA Nelson Mandela was a South African revolutionary man of freedom and justice! He is the father of love. His legacy reminds us to rock some daily love goals of grace, dedication, and philanthropy. He is the prime example of love, peace, and divine strength. This warrior was imprisoned for years and when God set him free he became the president of his country. You cannot rock Black History more harder than that. Nelson Mandela was and is so Sancti-Fly! What are your love goals for the day? MAYA ANGELOU She was eminent, dripping in pure excellence as an activist, author, singer, dancer and actress. This describes a little bit of Maya Angelou. She was definitely a prolific thinker of love. Dr. Maya Angelou taught black women and all females how to rise again; rock and win! What did she not do; what could she not master? Keep on going and don't you dare give up. Maya Angelou had the spirit of the ancestors dwelling on the inside of her. It was and still is an unbreakable resilience which says "Nothing can stop you!" It is one of the very reasons why black folks continue to rise and shine and make Black History! DR. SHIRLEY JACKSON Dr. Shirley Jackson rocked so much black girl magic and Sancti-Fly History in light of being the first black Sancti-Fly woman to earn a PhD in physics from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology); specializing in theory. She invented fiber optic cables and solar cells. Dr. Jackson rocked her love for science real hard at an early age. She is no different than you or your scholar babies. She is proof that you can do the exact same thing. You can see the results of nothing stopping or blocking her from reaching her goals. The truth is nothing can stop you from the plans and destiny the creator has for your life. SHONDA RHIMES
It's like a jungle sometimes it makes me wonder how Shonda Rhimes continue to blow up anything she touches with great ratings; never going under, only above with black girl thunder! If you have not heard about this black girl that rocks, Shonda is the female executive producer of shows like Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder. Rhimes rocks a stentorian mixture of creative belief which speaks volumes to black women; allowing them to know they can do it too! Shonda Rhimes is running the world in wow with her writing style! |
