Liberation for melanated people will always be a battle of economic mindsets. Each and every generation will have to fight. Sometimes it is exhausting fighting for and against laws and systems that were designed to keep indigenous folks at the bottom. Despite, those indigenous folks keep on overcoming and rising. Their spiritual light is just ripe to unite, in this ongoing fight.
Thank goodness for the integrity that some people have. There are individuals who live in this world with pertinent information they are supposed to share with others, and they don't. You have to watch out for those kinds of people. In 1863 Abraham Lincoln abolished slavery. In Galveston, Texas the slave owners did not want to give up their slaves. They withheld information that could free the slaves and perhaps unite them back with their families. They are still at it. In 1865 the Lord sent an angel (General Gordon Granger) to announce that the slaves were free. The irony of it all is unfortunately present today. They want to hide our history or try taking it away. The truth cannot be hidden forever so it comes to the surface, always.

Sometimes it is exhausting fighting for and against laws and systems that were designed to keep indigenous folks at the bottom. Despite, those indigenous folks keep on overcoming and rising. Last week you were so mannish with your Spanish. This week we are going to be free in feeling good just like we should instantly, with the music of R&B. We love to create those great memories with these instant feel-good songs. Back yard celebrations and family gatherings give us a reason to use this kind of music. Remember that you will always get to unwind with very good music over in our culture. Black Music Month is exactly what it states. It is music designed to venerate melanated music and melanated culture. Liberty and justice are still parts of the agenda. As mentioned out in the HuffPost, the idea behind selecting June as Black Music Month came from President Jimmy Carter. It was further pushed into legislation by music producer Kenny Gamble and his ex-wife Mrs. Dyana Williams. Dyana is known as the Godmother of Black Music Month as noted by Ebony. Our interest is still resistance.✊🏾 We can never get too much of Luther. Why are all the great ones gone? Didn't I tell you that you can get the best music in our culture. A thousand kisses from you is kind of romantic to say (writing that down...lol) to someone you love. This man was certainly in tune with his purpose. All of his songs are hitmakers. Sorry, but you have to give it up when this song is played. This particular song by Marvin Gaye puts us all in the best of moods, instantly. Where is the lie? This song will forever be my soul train line dance. I enjoyed how the cast in the movie This Christmas illustrated this so perfectly. They did a soul train line dancing to this song. That is why I am crazy about that movie. The Jones Girls are encouraging us all to travel this world and make our mark in lots of beautiful places and memories. Nights Over Egypt is a classic feel-good song. Gather everyone together and make it better for the world. Especially our young people. We have to train and school them. One person can and always will make a difference. When will there be a harvest for our world. This song is definitely dedicated to all of our men and women serving our lives in the armed forces and law enforcement. All this time I thought I was singing the song right. It says Walking in Rhythm. Why was I singing, walking in rivers lol. Earth, Wind, & Fire will keep your vibration lit and bright. No one can dim your light when this song comes on. Just groove your way to a better mood. You know I am always ready to groove with you. Let's groove tonight. Wait, what? Ok, okay, you can't today? Well, how about tomorrow? I decree that you are going to have a lovely day today. As a matter of fact, I say you are going to have a wonderful, lovely week. Listen to the words of all these instant feel-good songs. When you think of that child, that friend, your partner, or family member you know you're going to get through it and have a lovely day.
This controversial piece is kind of like my Twitter Tweets of The Week. Once in a while I cruise around Twitter and talk about many random things trending but this time it will be with post from Instagram. Sometimes there is audio so please don't forget to click on the links in purple to listen in. I will always and forever dedicate this controversy towards the black liberation for melanated people and agendas of freedom in all of our nations! Remember that sometimes you will be offended by some of these Instagram posts. It might help you think about your views on things or change your perspective. The title does say this is about controversy. I hope you feel some kind of way. You're supposed to! This edition of controversy is all about melanated issues that continue on our menu (um nothing new). Wait I did add something new at the end. Let's start off with this high energetic positive June message. I came across this and just couldn't resist. May peace, love and happiness always surround you. May you get the things you want and desire. May your sleep and rest be peaceful. Black women's magic won't ever be stopped no matter how hard they try to dim and block their light. As entrepreneurs they are always pulling themselves up by their bootstraps. Isn't this the message we have heard our entire lives by them? Our ancestors did it and so we follow in their spirit despite the hurdles we have to jump. Pay attention to this particular mention. Edward Blum appears to be threatened by all of our "black thunder." He is not stopping nothing. You remember him, don't you? Mr. Blum should mind his very own business. What about all the others that specifically "specify" funds for their people? Blum not going nowhere near them, but he wants melanated women to not be included in financial development, freedom to build their wealth, and to ensure that they help their communities. Edward Blum is a republican from the state of Texas. Need I say more. He has that same jealous spirit running wicked in his veins that dropped bombs on the successfully thriving city of Tulsa. Men and women like him hate to see us winning. Melanated people (black people) take notes. This country has always been lusting after race. They made their $ on skin color and race. We still see the residue, wickedness and the blueprint of Blum's forefathers. They were not mine! So, is this what Blum wants? Some are trying to bring it back. Please stop acting like this was so long ago and obsolete. Do you still have race questions on applications? Why? Pay attention black and brown people. American people, please rebuke project 2025. This warning requires your time to stop it and your attention to divert the destruction in these policies. If their policy agendas have everything to do with the destruction and the exclusive behavior of Edward Blum, no thank you to project 2025. Black and brown people please pay close attention. I do not smell the fragrance of color in these policies. It's so clear, nothing but fear of those black and brown towns. Yet, America is a big phat hypocrite for not dismantling towns that are still Sunset Towns. They still exist. Their skin was their sin. It smelled bad, allegedly. We cannot make this up. We also have to be in control of the narrative they will try to fabricate. Naw, our own truth will remain in our history books. These are the constant conditions we have to fight against. The Jim Crow male and female Karen's of this world are fuming with disgust for anyone who doesn't look like them. Can we please make being an American melanated person legal? The weight of your bias and your lies can end the lives of melanated people. Just because you said or alleged something doesn't make it true. White is not always pure and right. Read your history. It is all there. Where is the policy to protect melanated folks from this nonsense. I am sure project 2025 has no clue and would purposely look the other way. Shame on you American Airlines. I will not be using your services. That makes me nervous to know that your team's handling of this situation was in favor of the residue your forefathers created. See, it is still in place. We are human beings with real feelings. Your lack of training and policies is detrimental to our lives. No way this would have happen if it was reversed. This would have been handled so differently if the men were European. Kyla explains white privilege so you can unlearn to learn, and to understand. Shout out to all the people, especially the young European individuals who use their white privilege to kill indifference and purposely refuse to live the lies. White folks are quite aware of their privilege. Skin color is the dumpiest reason people don't like melanated people, but it is so much deeper than that. History has affected all of us. Your forefathers created a lie and brainwashed you. Just admit it. You don't like black people. We adore you when you are upfront and honest. It is the best way to be. As I always say, we have magic. Spiritual magic. We know when you're secretly hating and plotting against us. Yahweh reveals all things. I co-sign on every true word he spoke. Stop acting like you don't know who we are. You know! Dear sweet land of thy liberty, America. You do know that your race problem is not going away? Congressional law makers should have been fixed this system. Black and brown skin folks are the main citizens going through these unwanted motions. Why? Do white people have to use their black and brown friends to get the right value for their house? Hey Edward Blum, here are some discriminatory policies you can fight against with a melanated woman. She is your lovely vice president. Do you want to know when your lady feels really close to you? Well, according to this man in this post, it may be different from what you thought. Dear fellas and all men who are willing to win, take notes. This makes too much sense. These are the children that will help erase your agenda, or as you say, your love for a project in 2025.This last Instagram post is what we need. In the end, come boogie with us! It will inspire you to shake off whatever it is you need to do in order to have a good day or be your best lovely self. Dance it off. Just like this child, be free. Allow dancing to be your superpower for today. 😍
Your Papi thought you were being mannish when you were only singing some of the world's favorite songs to him in Spanish. He loves it. Especially when you whisper in his ear and sing it. He is Muy tonto (very silly). This week we will be sharing melanated artists that arranged their music in Espanol y Ingles (Spanish and English). Our interest is still resistance. Oh, my goodness. I got on my mama nerves back in the day singing this song over and over again. (😊) You don't have to have a broken heart to love this song. You might have to throw on your actress hat and act dramatically...lol! It's fun. You know I'm an expert at acting like a plum fool. Here is the English version and the lyrics in Spanish. Unbreak My Heart Maxwell has a lot of girlfriends. I mean a lot. I think I'm one. My other girlfriend is married, and she is his girlfriend too, but he doesn't even know it yet (lol). We all love us some Maxwell. Whenever we can unwind with him, it's so good. Here are the lyrics. Here is the English version. The Spanish version is everything. Celia Cruz is one of my favorite oldskool legendary Afro Latina, Cuban singers. I love all of her music. Here is the English version by Gloria. Celia will keep you on that dance floor, no doubt about it. This is a beautiful song. It's about him being ready to join his love in partnership. Learn some songs in Spanish. Come on. Try it. Kenny Lattimore is another one of my favorite goodies. Todo soy por ti (he is doing it all for you gurrrl). I am so happy for you! Listen to the lyrics. Here is the English version. I extremely love Xtreme. Who doesn't (lol). All the Afro Latinos are represented in this week's Black Music Month. These guys or beautiful (Morenos) young men gave us this bachata hitmaker. Here are the lyrics for your pleasure.
Te Extrano. (I miss you). As previously mentioned, I will be starting off the first week of Black Music Month with some funk in the next episode. Music helps in every situation of our lives. In honor of June being Black Music Month, I wanted to share the black excellence that dominates the industry. I'll always have your back in some slow jams, hip hop, and gospel to celebrate the occasion. Can you get funky with it tho? You will always get to unwind with very good music in our culture. Our interest is still resistance. Go right ahead and make it funky. You can't mention funk and not include James Brown in it. That is extremely illegal and highly offensive. You better stand on the right side of the Father of Funk=James Brown, baby! Where my skates at? I feel a love roller-coaster coming over me in the spirit of all this funk. I just can't take it! Get ready for the big payment. Can you dig it? No backstabbing allowed over in here. Come on over and slide back into some righteousness because you are going to pay everything back. JB not playing around with you. Let's just make it a family affair, break bread and of course, um, pass them peas. Ready or not here we come yall! One nation under a groove to funk you up. In good times only. Hollywood trying to swing to our funky tunes, but "they not like us." Let's go dancing after work at the car wash. It's Black Music Month! These men known as the Commodores praised the anatomy of all women who embodied a curvaceous body (especially black women) in a more sophisticated respectful manner, unlike the artists of today. A Brickhouse lady was their way of appreciating the God-given womanly qualities and cutie pie features men are attracted to in some women. To be called or labeled as a "Brickhouse" was a good thing in black communities. We cannot forget to include our beloved disco funk. Hey, funk is funk! You got to be real. You've got to get down on it, ladies (lol). I know you've been like one of the greatest dancers. Me too! I love to dance! When you get on that dance floor you turn the whole groove upside down. The DJ really saved your life because he played the right songs. You were the entire mood of the night. You really just enjoyed yourself. This is what funk is all about. Always good times with this type of music! Funky dogs are in the house. They're everywhere. Freak out to the cool sounds of Mr. Clinton. This Atomic Dog song is a classic funk soul jam to groove to or dazz to. I came across this special edition of the Atomic Dog version dedicated to all the Que Dogs. Happy Black Music Month with purple and gold turning this mutha out and giving up all that funk.
We wake up not knowing what will happen on any given day. Yes, we try our best to think positively but we really don't know what a day will bring. We hope to return back home when we leave and count our blessings when we enter and exit our homes. Some of us are very mindful to thank the creator (Yahweh) when we do come back home. "Thank You Lord" are impactful phrases heard all over the world. Be thankful for everything. Try it! Do not take anyone or any day for granted. There is so much going on in this world. I Implore all human beings to engage proactively with their spiritual power. It might look different for each of us and that's respectable and okay. I am certainly not talking about religion at all.
If I were you, I would not let a day go by without commanding your mornings in some protection, grace and mercy prayers. Do not leave your house without it being covered in God's love and light. Tell your kids you love them. Tell your spouse you love them. Cover your families, your neighborhoods and blocks in prayer. Pray for your friends and families daily. Send up good energy into the universe. Your prayers are very necessary. Stay alert and prayed up! Your mind is very powerful. Prayer and meditation are your weapons. Change up your old routine into something new. Music and good food naturally heal most people. I can attest that it helps me, a lot! Pray for me because I am so greedy with all these tunes. I will be starting with some funk in the next episode. Music helps in every situation of our lives. Our interest is still resistance. The Black national anthem will start us off. ✊🏿 ✊🏾 Yes, I have decided to kick off Black Music Month every year in June by playing this sancti-fly video. We are just dope!
"I feel like Trayvon with this black hoodie on Huey P. Newton Black Revolution. I'm with a Nubian Queen and some illegal aliens." Pay attention to all these very important mentions. Common will be in town for a summer rally of peace in these south side of Chicago streets, telling us to kick that violence to the curb. Try vibrating on a new recipe of a higher frequency. While you're at it, encourage our young people to engage civically in our society. Therefore, creating more good men with good standards and less convictions with bad decisions is our mission. We want an immediate end to the ignorance of you not knowing all of your own history. Black cowboys and girls are right where they're supposed to be. The inception of history. YOU guys are the ones that stole Beyoncé cowgirl. She is a survivor. Yo Soy Ella. Summer of Peace Rally with Common There is no need for you or your kids to be standing in front of a judge with no honor. It is time for you to be proactive in your community. For those who love to sing and dance to the antithesis of this Peace March, please stop passing lies around to yourself. If you really believe that people in melanated communities do not engage in this kind of peace against violence, you need to visit Saint Sabina Church. Melanated people have always called out gun violence. Sometimes it doesn't make the headlines on the news. This particular church always uses their voice and spiritual power to exert community engagement into their community. None of the decent people in melanated communities want their kids getting killed by stray bullets. In light of a church being on every corner on the south side of Chicago, at least there are some leaders putting in the work to say NO THANKS to those who recklessly make our communities unsafe. June 14, 2024. Save the date. Civic Engagement is For Your Kids Congresswoman, Robin L. Kelly has a newsletter that I encourage you to join if she represents you. Kelly initiated a Congressional Youth Cabinet (CYC) to get our young people involved in public service and policy. If you have children in high school who are juniors and seniors, please encourage them to apply for this opportunity. It most likely will aid them in their future endeavors as leaders. The deadline to apply for a Congressional Youth Cabinet member is June 14, 2024. You can apply here. I Am Her (Yo Soy Ella) I am her! You are too! Women are the main source of nutrients imperative to everyone born into this world. You know that sparkling brown skin magic have poured into your life! No denying needed. Even if some women aren't moms or womb breeders, they are natural nurturers in our society. We don't always know how taking care of all folks in a village can affect your mental well-being when you put everyone before you. These are the ingredients women are made of. What happens when women fall into the traps of domestic violence? Yo Soy Ella is a great resource and non-judgmental support for women of color. Representation will always matter. If you are seeking help for domestic violations or mental wellness tap into Yo Soy Ella. Empower yourself today. Good Man with Good Standards The nerve is this man to wash his lady's hair because she was not feeling up to doing it. Are you kidding me? I think I just fell in love with somebody's husband, God. Please forgive me (lol). This is such a sweet sensation. I wish all women connected to me can experience love like this. This is lovely with pieces of wonderful dripping around the edges of it. I applaud him. Good men give up selfishness and stubbornness to do goodness to their partners. We can all learn something from this post. He is serving her. I am sure she serves him as well. Whatever happened to serving each other? Can We Say Black Cowboys (Gurl Bye) This lady needs to know and understand who the real cowboys were. Beyonce is within her rights to sing anything and everything she desires. Whitewashing your history is the problem. The thing I want to focus on is the point that no one in this American country has to worry about women and men in the medical profession like her but melanated people. You most likely would not have to worry about this kind of nurse, doctor or your dentist having these kinds of feelings towards you and also providing a service to you if you're white. Perhaps even if your skin is white. People of color do. Black folks, African Americans or whichever the name you deem necessary for yourself, are the only ones who have to be cautious in the medical field with all women and men like her and everywhere else. Dr, King said it best. If Europeans have any ailments in this world, black folks get double the portion of that. It is unfortunately still valid today. Europeans probably do not have to endure what melanated people go through because they are European. They are BELIEVED no matter what. If so, the probability of that happening is at a minimum because melanated doctors or professionals in the medical field do not exhibit hate. They're not part of that system. Can you ever imagine living in a world that is dominated by people who do not look like you and you are always reminded of it with incidents like this. Especially in the medical field, in the justice system, and in most areas in life. This is terrible, and it is an issue that haunts black folks daily. We become subject to the normalcy of it all. Those people who do not like brown skin people should not be allowed to participate in serving our communities. Period. Bad Decisions More Convictions What can we do to prevent these stories from occurring because it is antiquated at this point. Then, the prosecutors and the judges who placed them there don't have the grace nor the diplomacy to apologize. They don't care. If the skin color is melanated they really do not care. There has to be a new form of discipline in our American judicial system. Why didn't they look at the evidence? If you are a judge and you know the individuals are not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, why are you allowing these convictions? I know you guys sleep well at night, but I really do not understand how? Putting innocent men in jail and having them return back into society after 20/25 years is pure wickedness. Keep the innocent out and work on those that should actually be incarcerated. I understand most people could care less unless it happens to someone they love in their family or circle. We all should care. What affects one affects us all. Are you guys paying attention in this world of 2024? I Approve This Frequency
I understand what he is saying but I do not agree with all the words coming out of his mouth. There is a different frequency right here. I do think human beings are encouraged to learn how to spend time with themselves. What about you? Are you strong and always alone? MALCOLM X If you are young, black and gifted in this year's class of 2024 Malcolm X would tell you that "The World Is Yours" but to proceed with caution, due to the melanin that you rock and wear so hard! Nothing can stop you. They might try but it won't work. To articulate that Malcolm X was a great leader is certainly an understatement. The fearlessness Malcolm X rocked is an indelible mark in the hearts of many black and white Americans who studied his full life. Malcolm X was an epic soldier. Even if you do not believe as he did, you have to respect the fight and power he personified as an organizer of freedom and justice for black people. Poignantly speaking, brother Malcolm is the prime example why we as a society cannot give up on our young people (pull your pants up young men). Take a little time to get to know the vicissitudes of his life before and after he became a Muslim. Malcolm X has an abundance of Sancti-Fly History. ✊🏾🖤 TO ALL OF THE 2024 GRADUATE CLASS, THE WORLD IS YOURS! ✊🏾🖤
Go out there and fly higher. Use your gifts, knowledge and talents to fight against all of these negative spirits in our world. You are charged with making it better. Do not compromise. Stay focused and remain strategic in your moves and plans. Fight against this medical warfare within the medical field. These hospitals need to be held accountable for all the seen and unseen things they do. Think about Henrietta Lacks. They just took her cells without her consent. Before, you sing about "it being so long ago" please just stop that unpopular tune, because they are still doing these things. Why do they want a pregnant woman's placenta? It is hers, not the hospital. What is it all about? Shake up these systems. If you do not, things will stay the same. Please don't get me started on the other things that these hospitals do. Listen to a little advice. It is certainly not working well to continue lying and stealing from history. That is what we call theft. You're a thief. Your grandchildren and kids are learning the truth. Wacha gonna do when the truth bites you? Straighten out your back and fight, right? Yes! Fight against all of this economic warfare, oppression. You can make it all happen. All things trickle around money and poverty. Yet the Supreme Court ruled to remove race from the admission process, therefore shortening the small pool of melanated people from attending schools of their choice. I surmise they just want all of the same folks in their institutions. These are some of the ingredients you have to change. They're not going to live forever so when you see the open seat take it. Take it so that this criminal justice system can be used righteously. No more innocent men or women plus boys and girls trapped in jail for crimes these judges know they did not do. Become the judicial system of reform. Dear Class of 2024, You have to care about the seniors. You have to advocate against any form of hate and racism. You have to protect our civil liberties. You have to be better than your family members that are in congress. If you're interested in becoming a politician change the old mission to that new righteous one. You have to do these things and more because you are the lost pieces of humanity we need! Years ago, when I first witnessed people on social media posting the words "Mood" on their social media platforms, I often wondered why they posted that, or what it meant? Now I totally get it. We declare VICTORY over your life! As we manifest it, we continue to fight and pray. We win! We see, feel, believe, and DECREE it into existence. The best part is...we are not alone. Legions of angels are always by our side! This song is highly recommended for you! Empower your spirit, now! Did you realize that you were a champion in Yah's eyes? Well, you are! Kanye knew. Go ahead and bask in your spiritual power. Yahweh gave it to you. USE IT. Its ok to wonder! This is one of Ye's best songs ever in my opinion. Listen to the words because you're going to be alright. You're going to make it young man, young lady. "I always had a passion for flashing before I had it, I closed my eyes and imagined it!" Imagination is so good for you! It is healthy for your braincells. Go ahead and see yourself surrounded with goodness and by all the good things you deserve. Remember, having a good life isn't just about material things. It can also be about the wisdom, healing, peace, and love in abundance Let me allow you to know (just in case you didn't know) that you are a conqueror! No matter what you go through or how hard life gets, God created your before and after to overcome it all. You're more than a conqueror. Marinade in the lyrics of this song. Whew! I need you to survive. Those beautiful people connected to your destiny need you to survive too. Don't focus on any naysayers or those who don't believe in you. You will survive. Speak it over your own life. Let this song minister to your soul.
