Years ago, when I first witnessed people on social media posting the words "Mood" on their social media platforms, I often wondered why they posted that, or what it meant? Now I totally get it. What a beautiful relaxing song.

Time for you to snuggle up close to some stress-free behavior in the summer of 2024. There are 3 movies you must see this summer. Don't think about inflation, or politics, or those individuals with bad energy. Learn to be selfish with yourself for at least a few hours and watch these Sancti-Fly Movies. What are you going to do when those Bad Boys come looking for you? You may run but you're going to get caught, eventually. This film was so full of action. It was packed with humor and excellent music. My favorite scene was that plane scene. Okay, that's all I am telling you. It was a great twist and turn of events. Go see this movie. Martin and Will did it again. Be careful what you asked for. You might get it. Will you be able to handle it? If it gets rough, are you going to run away from what you asked for, or will you fight for it? You know it won't always be easy. I am praying that you fight for what you asked for. Most people know at least someone who grew up in the governmental system of foster care whether it was their friend or family member. Perhaps we probably even have a personal experience with the Department of Children and Family Services. Either way, Sound of Hope is a highly recommended movie that will inspire you. The movie is about a true story that happened in the State of Texas in a little town called Possum Trot. My lips are sealed. I can't say anything else, but you have to watch this movie. Oh, my goodness! You know how much I adore true history, especially when we get to control our own narrative. Horizon (An American Saga) has everything to do with American History. Like stolen land and territory. History has shown how good Europeans were at taking and stealing things that did not belong to them. Kevin Costner presents another narrative of land and territory with the Indians or the indigenous people. Whew! All I can say is, please go see it.
Listen, are you paying attention to all these very important mentions. How about clapping for rising above adversity. You are very welcome to quench your thirst to get rid of the worse and bring in new young leadership. These new leaders will not assassinate your character. They will try putting America back in first place with grace. Your theories are probably quite fine but it's 2024, and they all have their own minds. You have to respect that. Even if it does not Appeal to you. Life is a long shadow of short so engage in some healthy vegan eating. Rise Above Cuz (cousins) In my community we say, "what's up cuz, or how are you doing cuz?" It's short for cousin. This organization is leaking in inspirational warfare for our young people and the world. Give your children some of these knowledgeable treats. It's very healthy for their minds. I actually had an opportunity to meet members of Rise Above. They came to my town and set up their mobile trucks. Members of my community were able to tour an awesome array of history, and they allow you to watch a short film. They use the story of the Tuskegee Air Men to inspire all the young people in this world to overcome adversities in their lives. This is worth having in your town or city. Attention Extension If you believe that your children are the future and they are, push them in this great direction! What are you waiting on? Do it! Congresswoman, Robin L. Kelly has a newsletter that I encourage you to join if she represents you. Kelly initiated a Congressional Youth Cabinet (CYC) to get our young people involved in public service and policy. If you have children in high school or know kids who are in their junior and senior year, please encourage them to apply for this opportunity. It most likely will aid them in their future endeavors as leaders. Yes, it will, hint, hint. The deadline to apply for a Congressional Youth Cabinet member has been extended to August 23. You can apply here. Un-American Assassinations Again Boys and girls plus ladies and gentlemen pay attention but don't be so easily infected with distractions. Yes, there are things we can all agree on that are very questionable. Like how in the world did the young man ease on down that yellow brick road, and land on a rooftop on the Secret Service watch? People were injured and one person was killed so please be mindful of the things you say on social media regarding this failed attempt to assassinate Donald Trump? She's Got Her Own (Museum) Naomi Campbell is a brown skin mama with gurl power floating out of her. This woman has created a masterpiece of her entire career for you to be part of the history. Gone-gurl. The Real Deal is The Appeal There is so much in stake in the upcoming elections. We still have to have faith. If you are working in the criminal justice arena or in any form of law enforcement, are students in law school, or enjoy soaking up knowledge, please subscribe to The Appeal. They have some of the best investigative reporters who give you all the news that is worthy of your awareness. For instance, information politics, policing, criminalization, prosecution and everything in between. If you have melanated kids that you are raising, it’s imperative for you to get close to all of the things beneficial to you. That is The Appeal. The Appeal gives their audience untold stories of their communities. We wouldn't even know about a lot of the injustices hiding out in the black and brown skin areas of our neighborhoods if the reporters from The Appeal didn't expose it all. Stay in the know! Please support them. Drafted and Gone (Khyree) Life is definitely a long shadow of short. This young man got drafted into the NFL to play for the Minnesota Vikings and never got a chance to experience being a professional athlete. He had a terrible car accident and died. Stories like this one fortifies appreciation of life and for us to not take anything for granted. Tragic! Vegan Eating Empire
Brick City Vegan is taking you back to a plant-based lifestyle. Adenah Bayoh and Emeka Onugha had a vision of love. Kind of like Mariah Carey(lol) but for their communities to drown and bleed in a little bit of healthier choices to din at. They opened up another vegan restaurant. They look so happy. The best part that gets into the serotonin of my heart is that it is black owned. Dear Black People, (Hey)
Who are you guys voting for? Will it be Trump or Biden? You already know this upcoming election is going to be crazy, right? Some said Biden is too old, but Biden has announced that he is staying in the race so please stop feeding that narrative. It's time to put it to an end. Plus, it's really not wise to try pushing the president to the side because of his age. He has advisors and a vice president. If the democrats want to continue acting like the president ONLY makes all the big decisions by himself, their division will cost them a lot. They said Trump lied a lot during the debate. I watched the debate and Trump really has the best acting skills that had me cracking up in much needed laughter. Trump called Biden a liar and a criminal 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. He sure did. I went to bed in so much wellness because laughter is good for your heart. There are plenty-many folks who do not care for either of the two choices we have to vote for but when the majority of black and brown people started to hear about this republican 2025 project, they are opting to vote against that. Others are not pleased with it as well, but I am directly speaking to all the melanated people because those new policies they want to enact will most likely affect melanated families more. It is astounding to me that a lot of folks still don't know what project 2025 is. Why aren't all the lawmakers and lobbyist not talking about this? They are but you have to read. Read it for yourself so when those other people tell you it's not true, you will know for yourself. Read the mandate for leadership. Read all about the conservative promise. Its 900 pages. READ IT. Years ago, when I first witnessed people on social media posting the words "Mood" on their social media platforms, I often wondered why they posted that, or what it meant? Now I totally get it. Ivy Queen is just that, a dope queen. This song is sick with all the elements of the music and the sophistication of this oldskool lady we call Ivy Queen. Love her. OMG she is the bum! Love Songs She gotta a whole lot of love for you. Can you handle it? Well at least love is on her mind and not hate. This is a great oldskool love song. Love songs It's hot in here! Aventura is deliciously handsome...fine! Shhh. No le digas a nadie (don't tell nobody). Lo mucho que te quiero (how much I love YOU). Aventura. Everybody knows now. Lol Can I just get a 30, second hug, Aventura? Please count very slow, ok? Sabes que te quiero Don Omar! You know I love him. He was younger back then but so what, he is still looking like a King today. He is still my man in my mind. Lol
In melanated communities we always feel some kind of way, with a sprinkle of distrust and bias interruptions from the media when it comes to the police. Yes, a lot of it is historically implanted in our minds. It's unfortunately threaded into our experience, or the black experience. However, those melanated people who are related to police officers or have them as family members and friends will have a different narrative. Some are jerks to their family and friends, and it doesn't get better when they put on those uniforms. Some are nice and professional to all citizens in their community, plus their family and friends. Their character doesn't change.
Despite what we see on the news I believe there are more professional officers than what is sometimes displayed in the media. I will be the first one to call out any police misconduct or bogus behavior, especially when it comes to all race relations coupled with white supremacy. That all has to die. It will. There are more individuals in melanated communities and others joining the police force because they believe they can break the machine. This new generation is not like your grandparents. They are not having it! Remember those who wish to continue in those antediluvian ways will not live forever. So, jump in there and take that change before their minions try to. Anyway, back to the goodness of this story. A few days ago, a woman in Lula's bloodline (our family) was taking care of some business in the south suburbs of Chicago. She noticed a man in a silver/grey Jeep Cherokee following her. She told me this man boldly followed her multiple times. She also said she purposely moved around the area in her car to see if he would continue to follow her. He did. She immediately called the police in the area. She told us the man started to leave when he saw her on her phone. The police came swiftly to her location to document everything. She told me they even offered to escort her to her next location. I thought that was a nice thing to do. She told me and our family how safe she felt with the 2 European officers and how they made her feel. She told us she felt very respected and important. We were all thankful for her safety and her experience. Please be safe and watch your surroundings, young men and women. I always pray for good encounters with police officers if my friends and family have to interact with them. Favor and peace are my prayers. One thing about us, we give honor and credit where it is due. I want to give a big "thank you" and shout out to a host of men and women officers serving our communities in the south suburban localities. Yall be doing the most, out there in the south suburbs of Illinois serving and helping people. Omg! THANK YOU. Years ago, when I first witnessed people on social media posting the words "Mood" on their social media platforms, I often wondered why they posted that, or what it meant? Now I totally get it. How many people have you made an impact on in life? Well, as long as you still have breath in your body as you wake up, there is time for you to impact the life of others. Yeah...yeah...yeah! I used to be in love with Daddy Yankee, but I quit him for Don Omar....lol! Daddy Yankee is married so he is actually off limits. Remember when he tried to hit on me (in my mind) that one time? Music is my happy place, especially now! Whew! This song is appreciated by those who know about the old school tunes. No matter my mood, this song helps me feel better. When you make mistakes in life try not to bruise yourself and beat yourself up over it. Smh! You can't stay in your seat when this song comes on. Move your hips. Another one of my favorite songs. I went all the way back to the classic old school. Great music! Listen and you will instantly like this song.
Last week you were vibing in your feelings with good memories of R&B. This week the menu continues as you bob your head and groove to the beginning of the hip hop that won't ever stop. It won't end. Not on your watch. Music is the key to release your stress and be free. Remember that you will always get to unwind with very good music over in our culture. Black Music Month is exactly what it states. It is music designed to venerate melanated music and melanated culture. Liberty and justice are still parts of the agenda. As mentioned out in the HuffPost, the idea behind selecting June as Black Music Month came from President Jimmy Carter. It was further pushed into legislation by music producer Kenny Gamble and his ex-wife Mrs. Dyana Williams. Dyana is known as the Godmother of Black Music Month as noted by Ebony. Our interest is still resistance.✊🏾 Dear Mama by Tupac got us all appreciating our moms and the sacrifices they have made for us. This song is great for self-reflection and coming to grips with how your mom affected your life. If it is positive that's great. If it was negative I encourage you to do what you have to do not to carry those spirits into new chapters in your life. Learn from it. Make a choice not to be that way in your life. Just try to understand that some women and mothers are trying to do the best that they can. Dear Mama, You Are Appreciated. Biggie said he was hanging pictures on his wall of hip hop artist like Salt N Pepa and Heavy D. It is in the lyrics of this song. Biggie was manifesting his dreams. It works guys. He knew he was going to be the Notorious BIG. Let that sink in. Go listen, please. This song is an instant get your butt on the dance floor (flo) and do your thing, song. Yeah, I just made that up. Lol. I don't need no introduction; I just bust and grab the microphone and then start dusting. Salt-N-Pepa was everything. I thought I was Salt-N-Pepa when I was younger. So, get up everybody. Get up! I knew all the lyrics so you couldn't tell me I wasn't their biggest fan. They were so dope. They are still Sancti Fly Mamas. Their attire was consistently on fire. We all wanted those Salt-N-Pepa jackets. I am always available for a Salt-N-Pepa marathon. MC Lyte is all that! Oh, my goodness! If you do not know her do your research. It is nice to see how her hip hop voice has landed her into a career of voice overs. Her fingerprints are still on us all. Missy Elliot had us all asking that man, "hey you got some hot boys like you for all of my girlfriends." You know that's how it went down back in the day. Lol RUN DMC gets so much honor and respect. They are one of the best original hip hop legends. This song was the best of rock and roll mixed with hip hop. Get me on the court and I'm trouble. Ice Cube will go down in history for making this song. Today will be a good day. It is Friday. Fridays are usually good days. This song is so smooth and way too cool for you not to bump this in your car. When I hear this on the radio I do not know how to act. My head is always about to roll off my body because I am always bobbin to the beat of this song. 😂 Every song Kanye West has made is a hit. I like all his music. Ye is always going to be loved. Period.
I came up with this new content "Yall Doing The Most" to really take highlighting all the good news, great people, and good positive things happening that we do not hear about, to another uplifting level. You already know we have to redirect our own narratives. The consensus of the universe is hungry for more upbeat news. Some folks are addicted to rachet negative news. Whereas some people want stories that make us all want to do better or be the best version of what the creator (Yahweh/God) predestined for us to be. If you do not believe in a higher power but understand this vibe, you are welcome. There is no judgement. I know we cannot all live in a bubble. Some individuals only want optimistic viewpoints or news. Thats fine. I totally understand them wanting to protect their energy. I do not just want the good, always. Some of the unattractive news out there is conducive to our awareness. No worries, this creative content is all in the glow of good vibes. It will stay and rest under the category of Sancti-Fly Vibes.
Shout out to all the parents who have outstanding young people dwelling and thriving as positive vibes in their communities, in their academics and towards their parents and elders. These are the kids that protect their grandparents. We have them. They check on their grandparents, despite their teenage or adult lives. These are the kids that are against bullying other kids. Not on their watch. These are the young people who will provide great leadership in our world. Hey, they are definitely out there. I will find these stories for us all to emulate. Stay on them! Yall be doing the most with your kids. Shout out to all the organizations ran by women and men in our communities. I know a lot of melanated women ensuring that the future of young girls and ladies in their community have the leadership, vision, voice and confidence to pass on the positions of power to the next generation of young ladies and girls. Yes, we often hear a lot regarding the bad and the ugly news but there are some sistas (yeah, I said sistas), Sancti-Fly Women that are pouring out phenomenal love and guidance to these young ladies. They are successfully doing it! These are the stories I will highlight more and more. Maybe you can connect with some of these organizations for your children. Yall be doing the most in your mission to make a difference. Shout out to all the angels on those jobs. Especially those who have the power and authority to sift through messy people and shut the entire situation down. A boss mama or papa. It's usually the women. When it is within your power or your right to do right by someone, you should do it. Playing around with other people's mental state or trying to hold their personal information against them isn't cool. It is very unethical. Watch out! Just because they had to share personal medical information with you, does not give you the right to blab about it to the entire office. I don't know how you're working in HR. Yall be doing the most to make sure your staff and clients are treated professionally well. Shout out to all the men and women in the entertainment field. Especially in the film, television and production industry doing their thing righteously. What we see really can and does affect us and the young people in our community. There are people who turned down money because they wouldn't compromise their beliefs or their standards. These are the stories they won't tell you about. These actors and producers/directors opt to impact their communities with enlightening ways. David Leonard has allowed himself to be transparent within his craft as an actor and producer. Mr. Leonard has given us a more vibrant, up-close and personal look at how our communities address mental health and wellness by sharing his own story of his film "Scroll Food." This is something melanated folks really need in our communities. People are ashamed to talk about these issues because of how we handle them. Kudos to Mr. Leonard. Scroll Food is doing quite well. Yall be doing the most working hard behind the scenes and in front to be proud of the work you do, and you care about your community. Shout out to all the God-sent people who are always fighting for those who can't fend for themselves. These people are naturally helping hands. There's a song that says brothers are going to work it out. Ooowee, they will. I adore them for it. We have some King-Papas in our midst. You're too busy being a Karen so your eyes not clean. You won't be able to see their greatness. Anyway, kudos to all the men sacrificing time to coach other people kids, to mentor and motivate our young men into great examples. I will not forget my Queen-Mamas. They are in the forecast of betterment. If their child's friends do not have, they will go out and buy it for the child. They will make sure the child has it too. If it is food, school supplies, shelter, whatever, they will intervene. They listen without judgement. I know these women are always in the background making stuff happen for the good of their people and all folks. They're very wise women. Very mature. These are the stories I am going to be sharing. Yall be doing the most, out there helping and serving people. OMG! Years ago, when I first witnessed people on social media posting the words "Mood" on their social media platforms, I often wondered why they posted that, or what it meant? Now I totally get it. Hug Me and Don't Let Go is a jam. Please check out this new Chicago house hit song. We all need lots of hugs. Actually, if we do not get hugs or physical contact (touched) we can develop symptoms of touch starvation. It's real so look it up. If you know, you know. This is a great song to remind you that your family and your friends need hugs. Hugs are the absolute best when you get them from the loves of your lives or the wonderful men or women you love. Go hug someone today.
