The more our history is hidden the more we seek, search, and find out about it. I am so thankful and proud of our sister, Olive Elaine Morris. Ms. Morris was born in Jamaica but most of her legacy and damage to white supremacy are indelibly marked in the UK. Olive parents migrated to South London when she was a nine year old child. Olive was drawn to equal rights for her people at a young age!  As a black teen, she joined the British Black Panther organization to bring relief and equality to her people in the UK, specifically to black women. Olive Morris was passionate about ensuring melanated people were free from racial injustice and oppression. Olive E. Morris died at the age of 27 doing what she loved, without fear. Olive Morris definitely had the feisty signature of a melanated black woman crafted in her heart for the battle. As a community activist, Olive E. Morris hunger and thirst to unleash all of her black excellence into the universe towards liberty and justice grew. Olive Morris created her own platforms like The Brixton Black Woman's Group and the Organisation of African Women and Asian Decent to combat the unruly cycles of racism. Olive E. Morris did not like her name but I want you to remember that name (Olive Elaine Morris)!

​Olive Elaine Morris is inspirational warfare just like you and all the other freedom fighters today. Thankfully, she did not sit down, wait around, or remain passive in an effort to obtain liberation for black women. Olive Elaine Morris was a victim of  police brutality which did not stop her magic. It only fueled her movement! Morris founded many organizations and remained proactive during her time here. If she was alive today she would be that woman who would be raising lots of hell about how they are arresting melanated girls and boys at 8 and 5 years old. Just like you, she would always speak out against police brutality especially when a black man tries to convey that he is a paraplegic but isn't given the benefit of belief. Instead he is treated like his life does not matter and throne around like a piece of trash. I believe that if Olive was here she would've joined forces with some American organizations to demand policy is changed. Police officers who often engage in violation of their oath would have their pensions taken away. I bet all of that brutality will stop. This is why it is imperative to acknowledge women like Olive Elaine Morris. When they start, our resistance can't stop and it won't stop!

Olive Morris cousin, Ms. Annette Pateman speaks candidly about Olive life, her education, and activism. This proves how our struggles of oppression is a nation to nation problem. It also teaches us how black people fought back and resisted their colonizers from tampering with their freedoms. It illustrates how we always have to continue rising above white supremacy and against it!

Black buying power is really contagious! Will it stop? We've been surrounded by a phenomenal cloud of witnesses with hidden figures and colors that has not slowed down. It has illustrated how powerful Black people are collectively. Black people created their very own Black Wall Street during the Era of 1920. Then the government sent planes in the air to destroy all of their prosperity. Even before that time Black people were inventing, they were building, and soaring high! It all was stolen and credited to Europeans. Economic 'blacknificance' in Oklahoma was raining excellence in Tulsa. It was spreading like a wildfire. All of their wealth went right back to their communities like it was supposed to. Black folks lost their spirit of self-reliance along the way. It appears to have made a steady rise in the 20th century. There are more Black-owned businesses in 2021 just like they had in Tulsa. Guess where most of their wealth came from? Their own people! The only big difference is we are not segregated anymore. Melanated folks did quite well during segregation despite not having the same equality as white folks had. They survived! They made a living and pulled themselves up by their own love and unity! I sometimes wonder how the lives of melanated folks would be if they hadn't integrated.

Children are not trained to be their own boss, now! They are trained to work for others unless they are given examples of how and why. When I was in school  all of my teachers looked exactly like me. They were all melanated. We were not taught about any financial literacy or how to build wealth. We were taught to graduate, get a good job or go to college. There is a lot wrong with the message. I surmise it was the curriculum they had to give! Today, depending on your zip code and race, some kids still have a low watered-down education. It's currently worse. It's a pandemic! Surprisingly, they do have schools that teach a more high-quality version of public education. Kids learn how to code, how to become entrepreneurs, and study financial literary before going to college. Some parents are proactive and teach these skills at home.

The wealth built during Tulsa Oklahoma raised children with an entrepreneur mindset. It was sealed and crafted in their bloodlines. Black men and women business owners didn't pander to the approval of the white dominant society like they do today. They didn't mind if white folks patronized their brands or products and services. They were not afraid to be who they were and market their niche to their people. I am just trying to encourage black people to be confident in all they do as business owners. I see a lot of black businesses and websites who will advertise more to white people by placing only European faces or models on their brand. To you I say, your people are worthy of your own advertising! I get it! They want that European support. I surmise if that is your market then go for it! All money is green, but white people don't do it and we (black folks) will still give them our money, patronizing their brand. Asians do not do it! You will not see a bunch of Asians, Arabs or any other cultures putting themselves last. They do not advertise to black people on their brand or on their websites. You'll see their own people! Why is it not acceptable for us when we do it? If you like a product you should buy it, right? Some of them don't even like your skin color but they're getting rich off of your dollars.

You must respect my person if you want my dollar. I am not in favor of those type of brands. In the name of diversity, you might see a black face or model being advertised with their brands. What I am saying is, as black people we are one of the top consumers that buy more than anyone else. We spend more and save less! Don't be afraid to be who you are! Black people are just as worthy! Our dollars do matter! When Ebony/Jet Magazine launched their businesses, they knew exactly what and who their market was. It was the black community. We supported their brand and representation of us because they met a need. Black people will buy all kind or brand names, read European magazines who do not market to them, be totally unbiased, and be colorblind when they like and want to buy things. How many white people have read or purchased Black-owned brands, books, magazines or anything related to black prosperity? I'm not saying they don't. What I am saying is they do not support or consume like we do. We are the biggest consumers. When melanated people are aware of how crucial this is, things will shift in our favor.

​I totally understand why a lot of black people do not embrace and trust their niche. It is a process! Europeans historically have dominated economically. If they own and operate all of the banks, institutions and educational systems, they control the narrative of wealth. They still do! This has definitely played a part, so I totally get it! Just like them, we want their $ too! I get all of that. Do you get that if your market is towards everybody but focused on your own people, you don't need approval! It should be ok for you to have a business marketed to your own people just like they do! It should be ok to have a black person's face (its ok) on your website and them not feel uncomfortable. We are marketable! They know this! Black people are bombarded with everything that is European but will still patronize their business in a minute. Black business owners are worthy to be who they are and represent their brands unapologetically. Either you like it and buy it, or you don't. I get it! Do you get it?

December where have you been? Oh, I know, you're just waiting until the end of the year to bring people together in unity to conquer their fears so they can build. Those individuals who have birthdays this month are always the center of their love days being wrapped up tight in colder days. Maybe some snowballs too. Weather has never stopped a celebration especially if your name is in it! Oh yes, Christmas as well, whether you engage in it or not all, that green and red cheer is showing up anyway. We all have a few weeks to work out our goals for next year and seal the deal before 2022 strikes at midnight! Don't beat yourself up about things that did not go as planned for 2021. I'm certainly not going to! As long as you have life, your vision and destiny will come to pass. Sometimes we just have to re-strategize and get ready to do the work required or a little more. It's going to happen!

Melanated people are still demanding accountability and justice for black lives that do matter. Live your best life and put in the work for the purpose and lifestyle you want. No one can stop you but you! The fight to legalize our freedoms most certainly continues on the menu for black folks or melanated people to be fully treated as equal. This case is so not settled nor finalized. Each generation will have to fight for it! We are still waiting for the part when "liberty and justice" for all of Yah's children begins to start. I want to give a special shout-out to all the human beings (men and women), that have birthdays in this twelfth month of December who are locked up. Nothing else shall be able to stand. Thank you for being the perfect beginning and ending of their strength as they wake and sleep in all peace. Yah, as you blow your daily strength into these December birthdays' hands, legs, and joints, let them know it is your spirit that gives them the ability to lift, to eat, sit, and to clothe themselves. Thank you for loading these December birthday celebrants' daily benefits. Thank you, Yahweh, for being the author and completion of their faith to believe, to drown and to bleed in all divine decrees promised towards their dreams. You make ways to heal every day openly and secretly as you breathe on the December birthdays (love days). Thank you, Yah, for yielding an increase of healing their way as we use our energies to kill every sickness to death and release healing over the lives of these December love days. Let their enemies be ashamed and brought to a mutual confusion who rejoice over their life adversities. The hand of the wicked shall not drive them away. They shall soar higher and win their race. Nothing shall stop or block them. No racism, no sexism and no classism. Let the black man's burden (racism) and the white man's shame (racism) die, be thou removed, STOP! In order for true liberty and justice for all to ring! Every negative form of energy, carjacking and witchcraft spirits against these December love days (birthdays) shall be entered into their own hearts. Their enemies' bows will/ shall be broken all over these December birthdays lives. A thousand shall fall by their sides and ten thousand at their right hands but it (viruses, sickness) shall NOT come near these December birthdays (love days). Thank you, Yah, for your good energy and protection covenant, covering these December birthdays (love day). I pleasantly extend this prayer to all of their loved ones! In your light they shall see the true light! I just want to praise Yahweh (thankful) for all the beautiful people in my Sancti-Fly life! A few years ago, I wrote a little love note to myself publicly about all the rich love I am surrounded by. Yes, I am empowered and surrounded by pounds of love. This particular heavy weight is goodness wrapped up in faith.  I am also blessed to be able to see another love day. I can honestly say, although some folks are not in my life like they used to be because maybe their season is over or we needed a break from each other. They have all been great lessons and blessings. They will always have the title of "beautiful people" who has entered my path for a reason. Nothing is by coincidence within my life. Each step is laced with divine purpose. I'm grateful to have had their energy and good positive memories directly deposited into my life. This time around, I will not poetically incorporate any names as I've previously done. I will tell you how their love and support of acceptance has been nothing but the length and width of pure joy and strength. If you are around folks that do not add positive vigor to your life, stop allowing them to take up your space. Can you really afford that? Energies are real and so are spirits. Protect yours at all cost! I'm thinking you deserve good vibrations. You already know, my family and friends rock much stronger than the wind if you have been rocking with the SFM! This is the number one reason why I cover them in prayer and birthday memes.

Lets start with the beautification of my family. Most of the tributes I've done with the Butter Fly Mamas and my King Papas are about actual family members. You know, some friends are just like family! My grandmother is often mentioned on this platform as well. Lula was the main thread of delight. She will always be with us. No family is perfect and neither is mine but my family accepts me for who I am. They understand I'm more of a background person and that's fine. They are a praying family coupled with spiritual gifts. I am always thought of in my family's prayers. They cover me! My friends do too! I have their names written on the tablets of my heart in prayer. My family will always support me and love me with- out conditions. The most constructive thing about my family is, when you are in the wrong they will tell you. It might ache or hurt but the truth pushes all of us to be our best selves. I am freaking grateful to have a huge family! All those other friends and families connected to us are covered in God's love. It's just how we roll as a family. When you are right they will fight and defend you. These charms (my family) are what you call "everything."

The alluring pleasures of my beautiful friends, equal my other sisters, brothers and family. I can proudly state, I am blessed with healthy, splendid, female and male amigos. I am surrounded by good melanated men and women friends. We don't hear this in the media as often as we should but black excellence unity is always in my range! I am attached to pieces of greatness. My amigos are very encouraging and always there for me, whether I am venting to them or uplifting (lol). I don't know about you but my friends and I have praying lives. We pray together. Yahweh is part of our conversations. We engage in trips, parties, and political celebrations. If we fall out with each other we make things right because we're stuck in between mercy and love. Thanks Yahweh!

As we evolve in our glow and growth, we shed off old things and embrace a form of newness. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having your traditions but when truth has its way into your space, things are different. This look is dazzling in hotness! It's the pose with the rose for me, although I'm a tulip gal. It's quite alright to have your own style that wows.
